Glad, I'm not the only one. Davos had a really solid sub plot in Book 5 that I'm guessing isn't going to make the show which really highlighted his strengths.

For some reason I've always took a liking to his character. I'm glad he's getting some shine now. Can't wait to see the character continue to develop.
They showed John Snow's mother in that cut back scene. I kinda hope they don't get too much into that story on GoT though, because I really want them to make a spin off series about the whole rebellion against the Mad King or even take it all the way back to when the Aegon first conquered the Seven Kingdoms. That would be dope af.

- His name is Wyliss ? but who is the Northern Gooch that scared the Hodor into him?
- Sebastian the crab doesn't appreciate you remixing his song BloodRaven "It's beautiful under the sea but if you stay too long you'll drown"
- BloodRaven is the Tyra Banks of Westeros... everyone in his tree cave salon got makeovers. Leaf looking like Ayesha Curry
- Allister Thorne promises no one has to die at the medival version of the Overlook Hotel
- Wun Wun kicks in the door with his size 4-4, none of the Nights Watch wants it no mo!

I think they always have slower/set-up episodes though. Then BOOM... Battle of Blackwater... Hardhome, etc.
Hell, I thought the pace would be even slower than this. I really thought they were gonna milk the "Jon is dead... or is he?" thing. In just two episodes:
Jon Snow is back.
The dragons have been released.
Roose Bolton got murdered by his own son.
Balon Greyjob got murdered by his brother.
Sansa and Brienne hook up.
Sand Snakes off Doran and Trystane.
Bran and the 3-eyed Crow/Raven "go back" in time.
This is a lot for just setup episodes.

There's is so much detail in this show that's it's real easy to forget all of the MAJOR plot lines that they just dropped without ever resolving.

- Whatever happened to the Lannisters being broke as fuck and the Iron Bank calling in their debt? They made that seem like it was going to be a super important story. Even Tywin was shook and didn't know how to deal with the Iron Bank.
- And whatever happened to Cat's uncle BlackFish? He went to take a piss right before the red wedding and hasn't be seen since.
- And what happened to Lord Edmure. The Freys took him prisoner after the red wedding. Are you telling me that the Tullys didn't do shit? What about "Family, Duty, Honor"?
- Is Thoris of Mayr (spelling) & The Brotherhood Without Banner still fucking up Lannister soldiers throughout the countryside?

Word i feel like they're gonna revisit a lot of or all of those subplots in the future..
I never read the books but i always felt like aarya was gonna end up in braavos and playing an important role for them, she just seemed to be having too many connections..her instructor she befriended was from braavos, then she met jaquen haagar etc.
I always felt like she was gonna end up being some type of soldier/assassin for braavos and be part of the team to attack kings landing when its time to collect that debt. Since Braavos funds the enemies of kingdoms indebted to them, could it be possible that they fund Dorne in the war that may develop between them? Aarya teams up with the sand snakes and a kingdom ruled by women?
