Nah, he'll be back Season 6. There's a interview somewhere where he said the writers told him he'd be off for Season 5 but back for Season 6. Guess that's why he took the gig on The Strain. I'll post it when I get to the crib.

The Freys aren't back in the books as of the end of Book 5. Walder Frey and his house will get theirs somehow, someway from the Starks. Has to happen.
The Reeds will deal with The Freys, they have a Hatfield and McCoy type history.
