Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

But how hard is it for folks WHO ACTIVELY POST IN THE BOOK THREAD to not post anything that 'gives away' what might happen, in this TV thread?

How hard is that? Seriously. :dunno:

Instead of JUST ONE PERSON ignoring this thread by not posting 'spoiler-ish' shit.....

Why is the 'onus' on ALL THE REST OF US???? :hmm:
Now it's OUR JOB to 'put people on ignore'. Or skip over their comments.

This thread been active for 4 cotdamn years.
It did not just pop-up yesterday.:smh:

That dude KNOWS what he was doing.

And he also KNOWS that MOST GoT TV watchers in this thread do not want to read spoilers (by accident) in any way, shape, or form in THIS thread. :hmm:

You and I are making the same point. The intent is to SPOIL (or even worse make it look like you are randomly guessing at what's coming). All I'm saying is DON'T give them the extra attention by calling it out. For FUKS sake, someone earlier in the thread replied saying "^^^HERE IS THE SPOILER HERE^^^!!!

What good does that do but make sure EVERYONE is spoiled.

Really creepy how they have Sansa acting all grown when she is supposed to be only 14. They should have aged her up. Littlefinger even creepier with the leering.

Unsullied aren't supposed to have any feelings at all as far as I can know they are trained from childhood. It will be interesting to see where they plan on going with that since its mere filler anyways. Its not like they haven't done some stuff that is different from the books already. :dunno:

Jorah......:smh::smh: man you such a loser.... your love means nothing.....

Tyrion and Jamie's faces at the end. :smh:

Cersei was smug.....

Arya and the Hound.....man when she started laughing :lol: I was rolling.....that was perfect....

Two more episodes left.......ugggggghhhhh.....

Danaery's fucked herself IMO by kicking Jorah out.

He's her smartest ally, everyone else around her are nothing but fighters, they know nothing of strategy and shit like that.

I think he's still going to fight for her, he'll just do it in a different way. At some point in the future I expect him to save her ass in some way that none of us expect.

friend and I was talking about this...my guess is there's so many diff characters that have to share screen time that some of these actors are hardly on screen esp. in comparison to shows where one or two characters practically carry a show on a weekly basis...here's a list of the characters who received the most screen time for season 3...in a 10 hour season dinklage was on screen for an hour...there was also a pie chart someone posted here showing overall he's received the most screen time...so he's def earned the supporting actor emmy that he received...doesn't seem fair that the other actors should get it given their limited time when you have other actors carrying shows w/ their performances on a weekly basis...I'm surprised tho that the show overall hasn't won an award for best drama or w/e...just looked it up and it's only been nominated once for an emmy...crazy

Thrones-S3-screentime.jpg

I think you're right. That's the same shit that bit The Wire in the ass. Lazy ass voters IMO.

Anyway, back to the show ... I realize that no character is safe in the author's twisted mind, but killing Tyrion at this point would take a lot of steam and continuity out of the story line...Hell, I could see killing Cersei and/or Jamie and things could keep rolling, but not with Tyrion...Maybe I'm too entertained by that character...Another beef is that the showdown at the wall has been teased since the end of last season ...and only lightly touched through this season... and now they're gonna tie it up in a bow in the last two episodes? C'mon, man.

Yeah I don't see Tyrion going, but at this point it wouldn't shock me either.

I think the only Lannister that I expect to die at some point is Tywin since he's the strongest in every way and his death would be the most damaging to the Lannisters.

I don't expect Cersei to die either I think she'll be kept around for a while and her suffering will be her repentance and will be what gives the audience their revenge satisfaction (sort of like Jamie and Theon).

As far as lightly touched, I don't think that will be the case at all. I think that shit is going to be epic. Battles take up so much time and they had so much to cover that I think they had to wait until the end of the season. There has been a lot of material covered in one season, especially when you consider there is only 10 episodes per season.

Reminds me of the "Deal or no Deal" girl

All the kids, except for Bran and Rickon got aged up,even Danerys got aged up for the show...

Oberyn had the fight, but got too emotional....

Little Finger wanted to tackle Sansa....:lol::lol:

Sansa came out dressed in all black... got rid of her red hair... dyed it black instead. :smh:

I was like... OK I've had just about enough of this broad.
She needs to be written out of the script. For good.

Not interested in her storyline anymore in season 5. :smh:
She just succumbs to whoever putting a roof over her head.

No backbone. At all. :smh:

Meanwhile her younger sister Arya is outside hiking thru the wilderness and killing wild animals & grown-ass men with her bare hands... while cussing out EVERYBODY... pulling weapons on vigilantes .. shanking niggas... and giving out 'buck-fifties'... and got one of the MOST dangerous men in Westeros as her personal Bodyguard / Tour Guide........... like its nothing.

They need to get rid of Sansa imo.
Just give all her 'screen time' to Arya & Missandei, next season.

Just saying.

Fellas enough on all the spoiler rhetoric. I am fucking stunned. I just watched it a second time and I'm stilled stunned! Now what?!? :(

totally disagree.

I think Sansa is going to be a force to be reckoned with, I think this episode shows that she's finally learning and will be a major player at some point.

her and Arya were always different, even before these tragedies. Arya was always going to be a fighter, Sansa was suppose to be a queen. She's had to adjust on the fly and hasn't had a chance to get settled. I think she's settled now and you'll see a different character from here on out.

I didn't even notice she died her hair black though:eek:

Yeah I usually watch and re-watch episodes like this but that shit was brutal, its going to take me a while.

On a side note, I can't wait for the inevitable reaction videos that will be posted this week:lol::dance:

They might be the funniest yet considering how gory and brutal this death was. And I'm sure Prince Oberyn's popularity was at an all time high after the last episode of him agreeing to be Tyrion's champion.

No no no no no! That's way past fucked up. FUCK YOU GEORGE R.R. MARTIN.

Tyrion is that dude and his head was saved on some David and Goliath shit and then this dude has to dance around begging for what? An apology? and then he has had squashed like a melon.

who else was wondering how they were going to do an epic battle in 6 minutes?

Fucking around with Lord Baelish.... the only thing Sansa could turn out to be is..... another Lyssa Arryn Part 2. (But dumber)

The only thing that would interest me about her storyline is if she ACTIVELY started seeking revenge for the Stark Family. (Like 'swear an oath' to get revenge, or some shit, knahmean?)

If she just gonna be some Nobleman's bed wench...
I'ma just 'fast-forward' all her screen time whenever she talking, next season. :hmm:

Otherwise I'll just hope that Arya finally finds her... and puts her out of her misery for good.

I totally disagree, especially after this episode. I thought Sansa would play a background role for the rest of the show, but seeing her transformation in this episode has me thinking she going to be Little Finger's bottom bitch.

She finally understands how the 'game' is played. Which is all we've been asking of her for the last 4 seasons.

Thank you kindly good sir.

I'm hype for the finale to see where Arya and The Hound storyline goes next. They left it ambiguous as to whether or not they still went up to the Vale or if they just turned around and dipped. Next week is probably going to be all at the Wall, so we won't get to see what happens there for 2 weeks. :(

I know I'm going to be pissed if Arya gets within reaching range of another family member but doesn't get to actually see them.
Hell, with Bran seeing Jon and not being able to say anything, you could call it a Stark family curse.

As far as his motives, this video explains it best (they talk about it more towards the end of the video):

Game of Thrones Season 4: Inside the Episode #8 (HBO)

Naw look at the video I just quoted above where they discuss Sansa, she's about to be on some other shit:yes:

Arya is going crazy.

Man that was the perfect reaction.

how many times has she (and other members of the Stark clan) gotten so close only to have some crazy shit happen right before they got there (The Red Wedding her and the Hound had almost gotten to Robb and Catlyn, Jon Snow and Bran multiple times, etc.)

What The Flick?!

Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 8 'The Mountain and the Viper' Discussion and Review (S4E8)

No Ben

For the life of me I still don't get how we get spoilers in these threads. There is a book thread. There is a TV thread. If you've read the book why even come in here? To talk about the show? Fair enough but damn at least have some respect for us who are strictly watching the show and haven't read the books. I just don't understand how 'till this day we're still having spoilers.
Y'all do this same shit with Walking Dead too.

Naw I think the "complexion" of a lot of the Wire actors and its subject matter is the reason for their snubs;)

 Right but there were cac writers, directors and actors and NONE of them even got a nomination. Funny shit is one of the chics on the show actually got a nom for movie she was in. They had emmy level talent. When you have such a big cast it hurts your show for awards but it def. helps the production of the show.

Anyway, back to the show ... Tyrion ain't going nowhere. Mind you, I don't read the books so I have no spoiler or none of that shit.

Game of Thrones will OFF anyone as they've proved but they are also very unpredictable. They rarely stick to the script. For the most part all of these deaths have come as a surprise that you don't see coming.

YOU MOTHERFUCKING DUMB ASS MOTHERFUCKING GOT DAMMIT

I KNEW

i just KNEW his ass was out of there

I just fucking knew!!!!

take care of your fucking business fucker got dammit

FUCK
:lol::lol:

you son of a bitch i was just starting to... fuck

Naw look at the video I just quoted above where they discuss Sansa, she's about to be on some other shit:yes:

Yeah. I saw it.

I still think the only 'other shit' she gonna be on.... is fucking Baelish. On the regular.

Until the day he probably kills her to save his own ass.

Yeah, I think she was laughing at the absurdity of it all. And perhaps laughing at The Hound, since his mission had been to take her to the Vale in exchange for payment from Lysa Arryn.

A couple of unrelated questions though.

1. Where the hell is Stannis? I thought he was going to the Wall, per the advice of the Red Witch.

2. Joffrey was Jaime's son. Doesn't it seem odd that Jaime seemingly has no concern about finding out who really murdered him? I know he has to remain disconnected from his children to maintain the Lannister claim to the throne, but you'd think his character would show some inner turmoil about it. Cersei is the only thing on his mind, I guess.
