^^^ I don't think that Emilia Clark (Dany) is the actress they were referring to in that article. Once they nixed the traditional Quartheen gown last season, Dany didn't have a reason to be nude until now. My guess is that it was either Shae (hasn't been naked since Season 1) or Roz (probably why they killed her ass off). Could also be Melisandre, but a lot of her nudity seemed contrived and not particularly necessary anyway. She is red clergy like Thoros, so I think her magic will work just as well with her clothes on.

I was reading some Norse mythology and came across the Norse prophecy of Ragnarok. It's seems that GRRM may have created A song of Ice and Fire as a medieval telling of this Norse story.
ect etc etc....writers often take age old stories and reshape them for modern entertainment (ie. The 13th Warrior was the story of Grendel and Beowulf with Vikings) A song of Ice and Fire is Ragnarok with the Tudors and Camelot.
The players are easy to identify:
Gods
Odin - Aerys Targaryen
Thor - Robert Baratheon
Tyr - Jaime Lannister
Freyjr - Walder Frey
Heimdallr - Samwell Tarly
Frigg - Cersei Lannister
Giants
Loki - ????
Fenrir - Bran Stark
Jormungandr - Danaerys Targaryen
Hel - Melisandre
Surtr - Jon Snow
Hati - Arya Stark
Fafnir - Tyrion Lannister
I haven't read far enough to see who represents Loki but he is a shapeshifter, and is able to take the form of birds, fish, insects and even the mist. In addition to this, he is symbolic of fire (i.e. sometimes helpful, sometimes harmful), and is the father of "wargs" which is an old Norse word meaning, "monstrous wolf"
There are so many parallels like Jormungandr or "the World Serpent" is in exile, forced to wander the world. Khaleesi is the dragon and in exile in Essos
Fenir is the "Bound Wolf" unable to move. Tyr binds Fenrir, while he still has both of his hands. Fenrir bites off his hand as a result of his binding. Then Tyr becomes the one handed god of combat. Bran is made cripple or bound by Jamie...which leads to the war and events of him losing his hand
