both Mountain and Hound had fucked up childhoods comming out of a fucked up family
Jofferey's father couldn't hide being very disappointed and not interested in his heir
Ramsay... without dropping spoilers, learned to be the person he is, similar to the way John Snow learned from Ned

Your Jofferey argument doesn't hold weight when you look at his siblings. By all accounts, they are wonderful kids. Joff is the anomaly. Dude is evil.

Bolton's were always bannermen to the Starks... Rob didn't choose them, but Roose is very good at playing the politics... where the rest of the North prides it self on their honor loyalty and word -Roose just wears it like a mask. Since he doesn't buck like the rest of Robb's bannermen and is competent and follows orders, Robb relied more and more on him. But if you teach a child cruelty - they will always take it to the extreme and without correction they will inevitably surpass their teacher

There should be 7 books I think. but I think this season is only going to cover half of book 3 and parts of book 4. The books aren't getting any smaller so without major changes to the books this show should go 7-9 seasons.

if he can finish the last two books before he dies there might be 7 books. hes taking a long time to do them. the average is 500 pages a year i think. the next book probably wont be out until spring 2014 but with this ninja probably 2016 . ninja said the winds of winter and dream of spring is going to be atleast 1300 pages deep each .

im more interested in the winds of winter book and the whole white walker/others and their territory......the land of always winter.

this season I hate the fact they're skipping out on madd shit. no vargo hort, ser barristan with no staff, jaime didn't scream "shappire" to save briane and sam killing the other/white walker before meeting up with the nightswatch.

Agreed except the shit about hbo playing up joffrey; i think the portrayal is spot on. The king is a sick fuck, and it's not really cuz he's a product of incest or because he was spoiled growing up, since he is no different from his siblings in those regards. Like many psychopaths, he was born with those traits and the position he was born into inly helped to feed his twisted desires.
