Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

Aight so I just finished the series... Man this show so damn dope... I think when it aired originally I was disappointed because I felt, as well as did a lot of people, it ended with a dud... But on the rewatch, that joint ended just right... All the questions were answered, and the scenarios that were set up from the early seasons all unfolded... I still wanted more of it, but that's just me being hooked to the storyline... In my top 5 show all-time

I was disappointed that the Night King and his army didn't have their final battle at King's Landing, even though there was MAD build up for that, but the direction was in lieu of the "Mad Queen" as the final antagonist. Oh well.

Great series overall

For a long time, as a book reader, I was a proponent of the theory that Davos was the prophesized Azor Ahai who would " be born again amidst smoke and salt to wake dragons out of stone.”

If you remember Davos survived the battle of BLackwater despite nearly drowning amidst the fire (smoke) and sea water (salt) to eventually help lead the Dragons (Jon Snow and Danys) against the usurpers.

This link goes into more detail about it.

That's actually an interesting perspective

Agreed, I think had she not betrayed him twice before, he might've trusted her guidance on that one

Catelyn betrayed Robb after Robb reneged on his deal with the Freys. He literally said fuck Catelyn and did whatever he wanted after she told him he doesn't take slights well(right, before she enter the Freys' castle).

Why would he? Killing a guest after they broke bread and salt in your house is one of the worst things you could do in the North. The question is did the Frey's really think they could have got away with it, even with the help of the Lannisters?

While,I agree with you; Rob was the one that reneged on the deal after Catelyn told him Walder Frey doesn't take slights well. It was after the slight that the Freys switched sides in the war.

Would the Freys would have switched sides anyways,if Robb didn't reneged. I don't know but I do know he cared about having his daughters being in a more noble house.

How many books are needed on the Targaryen family. GRRM doing everything other than finishing Winds of Winter...... :smh:

the more I've re-read the actual story, the more I realize that George might have to get all of this out before WoW.
