Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

:lol:i saw this yesterday. And I thought Emily clarke and kit Harrington was bullshiting. But I remembered toward the end of last year. Massie Williams gave an interview and said fans of the show might hate the ending if the show. Sophie Turner said something similar. Saying everyone won't like the ending of Game Of Thrones. I kind of believe it. Because HBO makes great shows but, they tend to have shitty endings to shows. For example True blood, they had 10 episodes of goodbyes, and nonsense and rushed storylines.

Boardwalk Empire
The only reason I say it was bad because it was severely rushed. Because it was initially going to be cancelled. But HBO and the show runner. Made a compromise and cut the episodes for the last season. They went from 12 episodes to 8.

Deadwood/Carnivile
I believe both was cancelled. And was left a cliffhangers.

I haven't seen Deadwood and Carnivile yet. I'll find out after Game of thrones and next week.

The Wire ending was perfect

I wish they would of fought the night king last

I'm with you! The whole show has been humans fighting humans etc. We've seen that so many times and it's honestly boring. The NK and his army brought something truly unique to this show. Built up through 7-8 seasons of suspense and intrigue. In one damn episode they pissed it all away. We never got to see the hands on the NK. The moment was there, Jon squared up on him, and instead of showing one of the most anticipated one-on-one in any movie or TV show they reneged. The producers bitched up, the directors bitched up and ultimately the NK bitched up!

They might as well release both of the final episodes tonight and then go piss off ala the Hound! Built all this shit only to pull a Houston Rockets.

The TV series has made Brienne alot more powerful than she is in the book...not sure what the Hound is supposed to do with the Mountain after we already seen the Hound get his ass kicked by Brienne

He wasn't healthy at the time and she used a valyrian sword and still went life and death, healthy hound would've beat her ass. Even a healthy hound not enough for the mountain tho, thats when Arya comes in

Don't care about the self proclaimed experts. People all over the world are enjoying the ride... It's better than listening to the real bullshit in Washington, school shootings, and murders everyday... Now that's BULLSHIT! I've enjoyed this season so far... yep not all I predicted, but so what...It's entertainment!

:lol:Yeah it was fun, coming up with bullshit predictions. That wasn't even close to happening. Watching the book readers lose their shit. And talking down to the show runners.

Every single time in the series they have show normal progression of time for travel and plot progression. But for this, everything is thrown out the window.
Not at all.:smh: You just haven't noticed it. :smh:
Or maybe you just let it go in the past, because it wasn't a big deal.:smh:

Look at this map, bruh. Check out the distances between the places that will be mentioned below.
Then ask yourself if this show has really been about 'normal travel progression' since the very beginning.

Here's just a few examples...

Season 1

In episode 8, Tyrion & Bronn (walking on foot, without the benefit of a horse) manage to get all the way from the Eyrie to Rivverrun where Tywin has the Lannister Army camped, in ONE single episode.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

Season 6
Littlefinger arrives at Runestone in the Vale in episode 4, he then tells Robin that Sansa has escaped the Boltons and is taking refuge at Castle Black, but she is still not safe. Robin agrees to command Lord Royce to lead the Knights of the Vale to protect her.. then Littlefinger arrives at Mole’s Town (just south of the Wall) at the very beginning of episode 5: “The Door”.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

In episode 5, Davos Seaworth & Tyrion traveled from Dragonstone to King's Landing (IN A ROWBOAT).... and back to Dragonstone (IN A ROWBOAT).... then went all the way north to The Wall at Eastwatch By the Sea.... all in ONE single episode.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

In this very same episode, Yara makes her claim to the Salt Throne IN PYKE, with Theon supporting her claim. Their Uncle Euron arrives to stake his own claim. Theon and Yara Greyjoy flee Pyke to avoid being killed by Euron, after he is drowned as the King.

Just 2 episodes later, Theon and Yara are seen in Volantis, making plans to align with Danearys (Look at the Map above. Look at how far Pyke is from Volantis)... which means that they sailed all the way around the southern tip of Westeros and crossed the Narrow Sea before Dany could even make it back to Mereen after burning down the Temple at Vaes Dothrak and killing all the Khals in the previous episode 4.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

Notice the clips below. Dany and all the Dothraki were on horseback. She even stopped halfway to ride Drogon back to Mereen, and arrived while they were being attacked. Ships cannot sail faster than a Dragon can fly. And Mereen is a lot closer to Vaes Dothrak than the Iron Islands are to Volantis. (Look at the Map again. Look at how far Vaes Dothrak is from Mereen.)

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

In episode 8 Arya kills the Waif in Braavos..... Episode 9 was the "Battle of the Bastards" at Winterfell.... and in episode 10 Arya had made it all the way to Rivverun, to kill Walder Frey.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

Season 7
Jon and 7 others travel North of the Wall to capture a Wight. Gendry is able to run all the way back to Eastwatch by the Sea, and they send a Raven to Dany all the way down at Dragonstone, and she returns by the next day with her 3 Dragons, just in time to save them all.

How far is it from Eastwatch to Dragonstone and back again? Hmm? Look at the Map above.
Both the Ravens and Dany made the whole trip in less than a single day.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

At the beginning of season 7 episode 3, Euron Greyjoy brings Yara, Ellaria Sand and her daughter Tyene Sand to Cersei... in King's Landing.

By the end of the VERY SAME episode.... Euron has managed to sail all the way around the southern tip of Westeros and up to Casterly Rock, just in time to lay waste to the ships that brought the Unsullied Army there.

“Because The Characters move at the Speed which the PLOT REQUIRES.” - GRRM.

People were not bitching about this shit when they knew GRRM was more involved with the show.... but after season 4.... now they wanna bitch about "travel & 'time' and all kinds of other nonsense that never mattered before. And still should not matter now.

Re-watching episode 4: Bran says "Its your choice" when Jon looks to him for affirmation that he should tell Sansa and Arya about his lineage. The only other time where Bran isn't certain about something is when they ask if Dragon fire can hurt the NK. And it really didn't matter in the end because they needed dragon glass / Dragon steel to kill him all along.

So for Bran to say it's your choice, basically is saying that it doesn't matter if Sansa or Arya know about Jon. If it doesn't matter if they know, then it doesn't matter what they do with that information. More support for my theory that neither Dany or Jon will sit on the Iron throne.

Gendry is a wild card. If there are no Targayans left to claim the throne, legitimized Gendry would have a claim. But the people of Kings Landing don't know Gendry other than the boy who was an apprentice blacksmith. Sansa on the other hand was known to Kings Landing and is proving herself to be a good ruler. To make her Queen would require some help from other tho. Arya and Vary's and maybe Tyrion too.
