More importantly, how did they get the wight to kings landing past the wall since magic prevented the creatures from passing? Yes, it came on a boat but magic is at play. If that's the case, wights and white walkers could've gotten on boats centuries ago.

Maybe bringing that one wight past the wall weakened the magic of the wall.

I'm currently having a debate with someone about the scene with Viserion at the wall. Was he spitting super cold ice or blue fire when he destroyed the wall? I thought the wall was made of stone that was frozen over and destroyed by being frozen til it became brittle but he says it's made of ice that was melted by the blue fire.

People up in arms about the magic of the wall...Where does it state how close exactly white walkers can come to it? Note that no one touched the wall at all physically.

Also I believe the dragon let out blue fire. Letting out ice, even colder than the ice of the wall would not destroy it but simply make it harder (more frozen).

I may be wrong, but I thought wights could always get beyond the wall (like the one that tried to kill commander mormont in season 1 or 2) but the White Walkers can't. ...and sending the Wights through or over would just be sending mindless zombies who could be defeated without their Walker leaders... and they can't turn anybody once they kill them.

Ok I found the answer to the Viserion question. Even though he was resurrected by the Night King, his dragon properties didn't change & just spits out a blue fire flame whereas ice dragons are a different species altogether and would spit super cold ice flames. I'm not a fan of this explanation but it's direct from the writer himself.

Everyone seems to be saying his auntie. It creates an unnecessary complication imo going into next season. No one wants the show to go in the incest territory. Especially with two characters that people really like. I almost feel like they are going to have to come up with some clever way to say Danny isn't really a Targeryan to make it Kosher. If they suddenly rescheduled thats one thing. However there are PLENTY of cases where shows will change their schedule to not go up against a finale that airs at the same time. Its not worth it if you're looking for live ratings. Now granted we have DVRs and we do track ratings off of that for 3 days but to me moving Power is a good strategic decision.

However now we know that Jon is the rightful aire to the throne.....the throne that Dany has been working hard to get for HERSELF. Do we really think she's going to have her army stand down because she finds out that Jon should be king....after swearing loyalty to her.

Why would there be a issue? Based off the writing, Jon is going to say some shit like Eddard Stark is his father and he doesn't care about anything and Daenerys is his queen etc.

Because Game Of Thrones launch date was common knowledge. And i wonder why it was going head to head.

And if I'm doing a show, it's a couple of things I'm avoiding, Game Of Thrones, football and Walking Dead.

It would have been Power's season Finale (I think) vs GoT season finale, so they probably made the right choice. I was actually surprised that MTV scheduled their VMAs for last night. If ratings mean anything to you, you really wouldn't want to share a finale or a major event show with the season finale of GoT.
