Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I'm a stone cold rookie when it comes to this show but wifey wants me to get into it.

I'm on season 1 episode 5 or 6 don't remember, but it's not grabbing my attention.

Should I give it to season 2 til this show starts to pickup?

Dam this episode is short as fuck. I just got done watching this episode again already. This has to be like 40 minutes and some change.

I would be surprised if Jon and Dynaris are brothers and sisters and they both going to use the dragons to kill the whitewalkers... Probably next season.

Game of thrones hands down have the best fight/ war battle scenes
You must have missed an episode

Can't wait for this scene

Is this scene about the dragons recognizing him as Dany's blood kin and co-signing his presence?...Or is it about him refusing to bend the knee?...Pivotal either way.

I bet money this is her Just getting back from destroying Jamie. Her and Dragon Adrenalin still high.

It's a character and story driven show. You have to be into the source material, theories, and lore. I don't know if and when it will finally grab you, but if you get through season 1 and aren't convinced to keep watching, consider the number of pages in this thread when you decide whether or not to keep watching.

If it hasn't grabbed you by the 1st episode you may be in the few that don't like the show. I haven't meet anyone that I turned on to the show not like it and binge watch the seasons to catch up. It's addicting.

Great episode, i have felt for a while now that Danny is gonna turn to a villian, this episode may support that theory...I really hope Danaerys tries to burn Jon with Dragon Fire, just to have Jon to emerge with a flaming sword. Man that would be dope!

Yo..... This episode was just fucking crazy.

WAS NOT ready for Theon and Jon to meet. HO LEE SHIT

Jon and Arya are the most boss characters. Just ooze screen presence and confidence.

Tyrion watching Jaimie was crazy.

First battle with protagonists that people like on both sides.

WELL DONE!!!

All these reviews talking about a battle with main characters won't have any one of them killed off. Shit...its like they haven't watched seasons 1-7. :smh:

How long do you think it would take to watch all the seasons when the show is over?

A month?

I really want to do that

I think GOT is a show that people will grow to even appreciate it more once you see how it flows
You can pull it off in about 3-4 weeks depending on how much you sit through at one time.
I watch all seasons before a new season starts.... each season.

Plus I've read the books. smh

great episode... first of all is episode 5 leaked? I don't want to click on one of those spoilers thinking it's about episode 4 when it's really about future episodes.

Luckily, I didn't know that it was leaked. I haven't been on the internet much since Friday.

What did Brandon Stark say to Littlefinger? I'm watching it On the download and don't have the benefit of closed caption

Good advice. I'm actually not into fables, myths and lore at all which is probably the biggest hinderace for me. Crazy cause I enjoy films like Gladiator and 300, so I figured I could transition into this no problem, but it's tough at the moment.

But like I said, I'm gonna give it a fair shake and see what's what.

:lol:You know right. I think whats going to happen for the rest of the season. Most of the side characters is going to be phased out. And a few big characters. I think jamie might be killed in the season finale. Littlefinger might get it either next week or episode 6. I know leana headely is contracted to season 8. So she'll be around for now. I think euron is gonna get killed by cersei.

lol..I rewound that part immediately..... He quoted Littlefinger.. "Chaos is a ladder"

It seemed like when Littlefinger said chaos it sparked Bran's memory. I know Littlefinger had to be shocked as fuck since he only said it to one person.

Season one didn't move me either. I didn't start watching again until I just happened to catch a show several seasons in from not changing that channel. I tend to like happy endings and wasn't prepared for favorite characters to get murked. I've downloaded all the books, I just haven't read any of them. I'm thinking of getting the audio books.

he said chaos is a ladder

from littlefingers own famous speech from the 3rd season i think

Meera fell in love with a cold playa. Said Im leaving and he was like Bye. Feel for her. She did more than anyone will ever give her credit for.

Dany basically loves Jon. It's something about him that has her open. When he was waiting at the bottom of the steps like "Your grace" that look she gave ol girl transcends worlds and everything else

Arya is bad ass glad she finally made it home. Glad Bran confirmed the list and shout out to Arya for not acting weird about it either. He knew stuff and she was like uh huh that's right.

Little Finger knows his time is running out that's why he's shadowing her like nobody's business smh

Let's give it up to Jamie though. Had every reason to get the fuck out of there and did not. They all died but they died with someone who was willing to fight with them at least.
Now that the machine is confirmed to work expect those sentinel's to be setup all over King's Landing.

Dany took joy in that shit. She was at home at war burning people alive. It's coming. Slowly but surely It's coming.

Jamie though. Got the heart to fight man. SO much heart.
