Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

You banking on a lot of possibilities that Dictate Jon survives a Little Finger Sansa betrayal

and that Denaryis can successfully take kings landing.

You are right. I don't believe LF and Sansa are going to do anything to Jon. LF can't rule the North, so he has no hope when it comes to the Iron Throne. So the best he could hope for was marrying someone of Noble Birth, and that he could be someone's "Hand." He shouldn't have told Sansa what he wanted. She's going to be leery of him. She may even share LF's plan with Jon.

As Kings Landing now stands, they just don't have the "might" to ward off Dany, Dorn, High Garden, The Greyjoys, and the dragons.

Oh my boss happened to walk by as I was reading it and I didn't fully comprehend. Thank you. We're on the same page

People look at BGOL while at work?!?

I knew the ones who fought at Winterfell had died, but I thought some of his soldiers also left after Shireen was burned, because they thought Stannis had finally crossed the line. I'm going to have to go back and watch again.

Yeah, I think the cavalry rode off. But it's not like they went to the Wall or Castle Black. Melisandre came back alone. No way Davos would have known Shireen was sacrificed.

I can see what you're saying. But as for right now, there are only two Targaryans in the universe (that we know of anyway). They have to team up, or go to war.

I think the whole story hinges on Jon and Dany meeting. And, the outcome of that meeting will determine everyone's future.

You talking about the Same dude, Who fucked her on top of Jofreys Body, Crippled the Stark kid, was willing to kill a baby and wife, to get back to Cersi.

You dont just flip a fucking switch because she had a better plan for saving her own ass than you did.

And he wouldn't fight for Tyrion in the Joefry Trial.

He looked at her liked that because he walked into that shit.

I don't know, Jay. Their relationship is way different now.. she merked everyone... they buried the last of their children (well burned).. there is nothing left.

Dude, so many things on this video. So many mother fucking thanks. I wish I could like this post a hundred times. My question is, Sir barristan selmy said that rhaegar Targaryen was a good dude, he said that he was a singer and all of that. How is it that he kidnapped and raped lyanna Stark unless the kidnapping and raping was a story that grew legs without truth?

If lyanna Stark is Jon Snow's mother and rhaegar Targaryen is his father I can accept that without men being there when Jon Snow was born, and one of the more honorable people on the show comma sir barristan selmy, saying good things about rhaegar Targaryen unless those are lies, and I don't see sir barristan selmy as a liar
Dunno if its been said already but... this season, we've seen how folks 'get their news' in Westeros.

That mini-play in Braavos in a prime example, imo.

Notice: Everything in that play was 'backwards'.

- King Joffrey was portrayed as a 'kind ruler'.
- Ned Stark was portrayed as a 'cowardly idiot'.
- Cersei was portrayed as a 'devoted, loving mother' with zero malicious feelings. (until Arya told Lady Crane how she would REALLY react to Joffrey's death)

So it kinda makes sense that Rhaegar & Lynna's relationship would also get 'twisted' into Kidnapping & Rape over many years... as more & more people told the story to different people.

Just my opinion.

I'm a little lost on the Melisandre/Davos/Shireen storyline--Melisandre burned Shireen a long time ago (hell, it was in Season 5), and it wasn't like it was a secret (there were hundreds, if not thousands of witnesses), so why does it seem like he just figured out what happened to her? Or if he knew (shit, he HAD to know), why didn't he say anything until now? Hell, he'd even been to a Melisandre bbq before:

He wasn't around. He didn't know what happened until he found that little toy dear.

and even then there's no way in hell he'd have stood by and let them burn that little girl. that's why Stannis sendt o

The Shame was a nice touch. Cersi was overflowing with Bad ass the whole episode.
I hate Margery died though but fuck it.
If there was one part of this episode that I didn't like, it would be that Dany got the final scene. I know that was the CGI money shot with a thousand ships and the dragons but Dany has closed out enough seasons.
And Cersie was on point this episode. Dany sailing west should have been the penultimate scene, followed by Cersie taking the throne to close out the season.

I disagree. The lady has watched 3 kids die, and now she is king. But her reign on top was shorter than a leprechauns because the rightful ruler is on their way back.

And as team targaryn touches down, the night King will be breaking down walls.

after a 3rd viewing - she reminds me so much of Jofferey in that scene!
short blonde hair cruel as fuck...
I have to agree with @largebillsonlyplease here. Cersei becoming Queen AND losing all their children changes the nature of their relationship. Jamie was willing to go back to Casterly Rock with Cersei by his side. He was willing to say fuck the game, let's just be together with our child. But Cersei got that true power now, she won't give it up

WE've been shown that Jamie is ruthless and cruel where it concerns his family, but we've also seen that he's not a burn the whole world down as long as I can be safe type either.

Cersei has no friends right now and she will need to make alliances to one powerful family or another. In the world of GOT, that means marriage and if that happens Jamie is gonna realize that they will never be together. That could push him over the edge.
what powerful families?
the ones left are ALL bitter enemies of hers... or in disarray
Cersi is dumb enough to go back to the Iron Bank

People are forgetting about Euron and his fleet. He and Cersei would make a great couple.

The Iron Born have been everyone's bitch since Roberts rebellion, and that was at full strength not fractured like they are now

the crew coming for Kings Landing now is like NATO vs Libya

i don't see bran making it home. i do see arya making it home.

I hope Arya will be the death of Lil finger. When she finds out what he did to Sansa selling her to Ramsey. That would be something I'll definitely want to see happen to LF get his from a Stark woman.
Bran can speak through the trees. Through their dreams he could reach him that way to let them know he is alive and possibly share his new found knowledge with Jon.
I think Bran will be the way in for the White walkers as he has been marked I think when he passes through the wall it will make the majic disappear making it easy for the Night King to conquer.

They have to let Arya complete her list which would be her killing Cersei. That would be a satisfying kill. Especially since she'd have to go through the Mountain to get to Cersei it would be interesting to see how that would go down.

You forget it took Dany 6fucking years/Seasons to get on the water.

Arya and Sansa dont give a fuck about each other.

Sansa only cares about Sansa and Arya had a chance to be with Sansa and she refused. She aint fuck with her since the whole Joefry / Wolf situation.

They are still sisters and I don't think Arya will be holding that grudge. I think they both have gone through a lot of change and having retaken Winterfell...family will be mean more than past grudges
