Sansa will stop putting up with everyone’s crap on the next season ofGame Of Thrones

Not counting the people who have been murdered, very few Game Of Thronescharacters have had a more difficult time than Sansa Stark. Early on, she was set up to marry the cute sociopath of her dreams, but that all started to fall apart when her dad got beheaded and her brother started waging a war against the jerks who did the beheading. Then she was supposed to marry another guy, some poison came into play, she went into hiding with a creep who had a thing for her mom, decided to give herself a badass makeover, then was forcibly engaged to a creep who was even worse than all of the other creeps, her badass makeover was quickly undone, and yadda yadda yadda she jumped off of a wall with Alfie Allen.

That was the last we saw of Sansa Stark, but it sounds like she’s going to stop putting up with so much bullshit during the show’s next season. Speaking withEntertainment Weekly, Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa) said that next season is “a really, really big one” for her and that it’s “probably her best season yet.” Turner says that Sansa now “commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good,” adding that the show’s fans will finally get “that storyline” that they’ve “been craving for the past five seasons.” That may sound like it’s teasing Sansa and Arya going on a vengeance-fueled killing spree, but they’re probably saving that for the series finale.

Game Of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24.

Forget Jon Snow, new Game of Thrones season will bring ‘so many shocks’

Jon Snow still is the hottest Game of Thrones topic, but as we get closer to Season 6 more interesting details have begun to pop up. For example, Sansa Stark, who’s had a rough time so far, is going to have her “best season yet,” and we can’t be more excited. After all, it’s time for her to prove she’s a Stark.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly at the SAG Awards, actress Sophie Turner showed her excitement about the rise of Sansa in the upcoming new season of Game of Thrones, teasing that the character will have a very big season.

“I mean this season is a really, really big one for Sansa,” Turner said. “It’s probably her best season yet. It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves, and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good.”

“It’s probably her best season yet. It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves, and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good,” the actress added. “It was amazing because the past five seasons, it feels like it’s been building up and up to that. You can only suffer so much before she finally gets her, the respect that she deserves.”

We couldn’t agree more. Sansa went through some painful experiences in previous seasons, being forced to live a life she didn’t ask for. Obviously, we expect more from the character, considering the kind of hero her mother was.

And speaking of suffering, Theon Greyjoy suffered plenty as well in recent seasons, although he’s partially responsible for the fate he’s had to endure.

According to Turner, Theon, played by Alfie Allen, will have a great season too.

“I mean this season there’s like so many shocks, it’s massive,” Turner said. “It’s the biggest season yet. And just like in terms of character development, so many people’s storylines, I’m so excited for. I’m so excited to see Alfie’s one this season. It’s going to be good.”

The sixth season of the popular HBO show premieres on April 24th, so there’s still a bit of time left before the action begins to unfold.

The ‘former’ flames were seen holding hands and even shared a kiss, reported People magazine.

According to onlookers, at one point Leslie (28) peeped over Harington’s (29) phone, resting her head on his shoulder.

The duo first sparked dating rumours in 2012, when their on-screen characters came close, though it ended in a year. However, the recent sightings have rekindled the speculation of their real-life romance.

It is always great to see onscreen couples get together in real life, more so when they are both dead in the TV show. You’ll soon meet your end Olly, very soon.

‘Game of Thrones’: HBO Won’t Send Press Any Season 6 Episodes in Advance

HBO is keeping a tight grip on “Game of Thrones” season six.

In a move that involves a heightened level of secrecy and security, HBO has announced that it will not be releasing any advance episodes of the Emmy-winning series to the press. Hollywood insiders and press alike won’t be getting an early view of the series — either through physical media or digital — until the general public does.

“We’re not sending out press copies this year, anywhere in the world,” HBO programming president Michael Lombardo said to Entertainment Weekly. “There will be no copies for review.”

This could be HBO’s response to the piracy fiasco that the network and show endured last year. The first four episodes of the fifth season appeared on piracy networks a full day before the first episode premiered on HBO. This led to the highest all-time TV piracy record for a show that was already heavily pirated. The episodes were downloaded 3.22 million times in the 24 hours since it became available.

The move could also protect fans from potential spoilers in the early episodes — specifically those revolving around the highly speculated-over fate of Jon Snow.

“It’s painful for Dan (Weiss) and David (Benioff) [when leaks happen],” Lombardo said. “When you have press copies, inevitably friends ask, ‘Can I see your copy?’ There are things that happen. We talked about the upsides and downsides. Some of the press are fans who might be disappointed, but they’ll understand.”
