Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I just mentioned her because the show is trying to make it seem like she's the one destined for the throne. It's too obvious.

I feel you on that. I mean...I wouldnt hate seeing her on the throne, but I think Jon's life has better prepared him for it.

But this show might fuck around and have nobody rule that we're even remotely thinking of in the end. King Gendry or some shit. :lol: At this point I dont care about my favorite characters winning the throne so much as them getting some get back on the people that fucked them over.

Winter is coming. Dany is 2,000 miles away. Jon is going to be the one who'll lead people against the White Walkers if you ask me - or he'll be the one to come out of the battle looking like the biggest hero, He has Stark blood and Targereyn blood.
Jon is def the promise(secret) that Ned made to his sister before death. Even Stannis said...bastard- nah that wasn't Ned's thing. And see how that Red Bitch taking to him....she only jump on royal dick.

and i bet you she gets wetter for Jon than she did for Stannis...wish i knew for myself :lol:

They could. At this stage it would be poor storytelling. They can't completely turn over the cast, so I think of the people mentioned Jon and Dany would be the absolute last to die, along with Arya.

Shit man, we can't forget about Bran stark and his warging ability. You KNOW he's gonna be controlling at least Drogon if not all three dragons. That'll be crucial to beating the white walkers IMO. Dragons would be wasted on human armies. And who is he related to? Jon. I can see Jon basically being the man seen as saving the realm from the White Walkers, commanding an army and having his brother take control of the dragons.

I don't look at Dany as a true leader and I can see her ceding the throne to Jon. I think if she feels that someone just (that isn't a lannister) is on the throne that she wouldn't really care to rule so much as be free.

What about the iron islands? Are they just going to forget about reek and how the boltons castrated him?

Nah, they'll cause a ruckus, but honestly if Stannis takes out the Boltons then what would they even do?

I kinda have a feeling that Stannis isn't going to succeed.

He swooped in once in Kings landing and saved the day. He did the same a second time at the Wall to save the Knights Watch...I think this time will be Jon coming in to save the day with the Wildlings to save Stannis' ass.

Somehow I don't see Stannis dying, but I can see Melisandre having influence on Stannis to make him realize that Jon should be the King and Stannis is better as Hand of the King.

How did Stanis save the day at King's Landing? He attacked to take the throne and lost to Tywin's army. He had to fall back and regroup. Am I forgetting another King' Landing battle with Stanis? :confused:

I agree though that the battle of all battles will include Jon leading the Wildling army and Bran warging a dragon against the white walkers. I think the "3 dragons" theory might play out as well in some form.

Rereading your comments about Stanis, Melisandre and Jon though.....it would be crazy if Stanis does win the crown and makes Jon his Hand....then Melisandre plots on Stanis to put Jon on the throne.

Ah yeah, I had my shit mixed up.

I don't think Stannis gets the throne. He doesn't feel like the kind of character they'd put on the throne for long. I think the closest is that he gets his opportunity but is counseled differently.

When the battle of the 5 armies kicked off....Stanis and Dany are the only ones of them still in a position to actually assume the throne. Dany is too far away and if Stanis....by proxy of Jon Snow....can get Wildling backing....he's in the best position to assume the throne the fastest. For long?....I share the same doubts you do....but it would open up some interesting plot points.

Meanwhile Cersei prolly gets 'put to sleep' by the Queen of Thornes, or she just gets double-crossed by the High Sparrow himself (if he decides to grab the Iron Throne for himself, if he ever finds out about all the 'royal incest' - which btw, I can see Lady Olenna 'dropping dimes' in his ear about it real soon :yes:)

He probably already knows. Remember when Tommen went to request Loras' release, and people in the crowd were calling him "bastard"?

I think we're ALL being misdirected. Somehow this will come down to the different gods that are worshipped in Westeros. Notice how the power of the Red God is rising, with Thoros being resurrected and Melisandre's shadow babies. And now the Faith of the Seven is coming back with the rise of the Sparrows. And the Old Gods of the north may have something to do with the walkers and Bran's warging.

I kinda think you're onto something. One of the most subtle undercurrents of the show is the different faiths. Dont sleep on the many face God that Arya is on too. I think the gods will play a big role in what ultimately plays out.

How Do Your Favorite Game Of Thrones Characters Look In The Book Vs. The Show?

Tywin Lannister

Leader (well, until recently) of the most powerful and messed up family in Westeros. In the books, he's a bit shorter and grumpier than his lanky counterpart in the TV series.

Joffrey (Lannister) Baratheon

I think I like the book's version better for Joffrey, don't you? Less doll-like.

Tyrion Lannister

Eek! Now that's an imp.

Daenerys Targaryen

I dunno I think this one is a draw in terms of badassery. Although in the show, I think she wears more practical clothes.

Cersei Lannister

I'm getting a strong romance novel vibe (or is it Jazzercise?) from the book's version of the Queen Regent, where as the show's version oozes evil.

The rest is in the link....

GAME OF THRONES: SEASON 5 EPISODE 6: REACTION VIDEOS

“This ain’t watchu want" :hmm::lol::lol:

“Winter is COMING" :hmm::lol::lol:

“Ramsey…. is the Joffrey of the North” :yes::lol::lol:

Priceless. :yes:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Man, yall got me watching this show completely differently now. Never even considered Jon being Ned's sister's son. That would make a lot of sense.

That's the dominant fan theory about Jon. That he is really the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. Hence the title of the whole series, "A Song of ICE and FIRE".

All the clues lead to that conclusion ...which makes me think GRRM will use it against everyone with a major twist

tell that to king harren!

also how do you think the targaryans conquered westeros?

"Dragons possess awesome and terrible power, capable of laying waste to armies and burning entire cities to ashes."

What about the iron islands? Are they just going to forget about reek and how the boltons castrated him?

they already came for him.

when his sister saw reek, she said theon was dead!

Yeah but they have been a complete non factor. I figured they would at least try to get revenge on the boltons.
