My hope (and I know that the first step toward disappointment is always hope .... especially with this show) is that Jaime and/or Bronn will help Tyrion escape the capital. I don't see him getting to just walk away like everything is cool, but I wouldn't mind him going underground for a season as he tries to make his way north to the Wall. However, I'm far past the point of letting this show surprise me. If Tyrion is killed, fuck it.
I don't think that most people would stop watching the show if they kill off Tyrion. A lot of people would say that they're going to stop watching it, but they'll be back next season.
The only character that they could kill off right now that would make me stop watching the show is Arya.

Yeah but Tyrion is a bigger and fsr more popular character than all of the others who've been killed off.
As I said I wouldn't be shocked if they did kill him off but he's the one death that I think would truly give the show genuine problems with the fans, at least at this point.
Also they've shown that they will kill any character but they've been smart about how they've done it.
Killing Tyrion right after the shocking death of Prince Oberyn would be a little much and would diminish the show a little.
They've killed characters but they've never been reckless with it.

And now it's become widely known with book and non book readers that they'll kill off popular character, even to the point that there are articles and memes about it. At this point, it'll appear as if they're killing characters for the sake of killing characters and the jig will be up.
