Just Google "Syrio is alive" and you find plenty of posts and blogs written by Ice and Fire fans who sincerely believe that we will see him again.
It was never written that he got killed. The TV show portrayed what was written in the book - he faced off against the White Cloaks as Arya ran off. She and everyone assumes that he got killed, but only GRRM knows.
Probably. But lets not act like he wasn't a part of the most powerful lands in the free countries.

Worthy of a death scene? This isn't a case of his death being written in the book and HBO choosing not to shot the scene. In the book it is never definitely laid out that he is dead.

There is a sizable group out there that believe that he is actually Jaquen H'gar (Arya's face-changing assasin friend) and that his mission is part of a grand scheme that has lot to do with Arya, which is why he has been around her for a while (possibly even back in Winterfell) and just changing his face when needed.
GRRM definitely does explicitly depict the death of characters who have really died, and it does strike me as peculiar that Syrio's death seems to be the only one that was not explicitly depicted.

I like A Feast for Crows,maybe because I don't separate it from A Dance with Dragons..You can't really separate those two books,since they're happening at the same time...
A Dance with Dragons was originally going to be called A Feast for Crows 2,but GRRM didn't want to confuse his audience and didn't like it,so he changed the title....
There's a lot that happens in Feast for Crows. DAMN, without spoilers, it's hard to say anything, but I can't wait to get into Dance with Dragons and see who else turns up. Glad I started reading, but I'm way ahead of where I intended to be. It's just hard as hell to stay up with who's who...
