Game Of Thrones season 2: The night is dark and full of terror................

people just like being clowns for some reason.

Not trying to see that thread turn into the walking dead thread even though season 2 of the walking dead did not follow the comic that much at all.

a mod should delete that comment.....

Im very please how the first episode....Im currently at Jon's part in the book...:lol::lol:

Good episode. I was worried to come in this thread. I wasn't sure if there would be spoilers. HNIC really needs to add a blackout feature to black out text that are going to be spoilers. Most forums have that feature.

Its very simple

If you dont wanna know anything stay away from the thread or anything similar

we dont want censorship in this place.

I only come here after I've watched the episode

But in all seriousness stay away from wiki if you have not already read the book or do not want to ruin the experience.

True True True

I've already learned my mistake. I only took to wiki just to get a "global understanding" about what it was I was watching. Mainly trying to tie my head around the setting which led me into dissecting a map so I can put the entire story into a geographical perspective. Then I wanted to see what the second book was about and fucked around and got pissed. I have my map and understand enough so I'm good now:cool:

For future reference possibly next time you could ask someone in the official thrones thread a question to fill in the blanks without the spoilers.

Dont confuse "spoilers" with discussion threads. We understand the thread is for post show discussion. We are talking about those who talk about future storylines/episodes/character outcomes..etc..

Also, can you edit your thread title to "show discussion" or "no spoilers"?

I need an overview myself, i've forgotten quite a bit from last season and they are adding more than a few characters and storylines this season it seem.

Gotcha! I sure will. Mainly I needed to understand where everyone was and what the characters had to do with each other. My main interests were:

1) How did Robert become King?
2) Who were Daenery's people?
2.1) How and why did they become exhiled?
2.2) how in the fuck were they in they in a hot dry area while it snowed in other places during the same time period? (this is why I needed a map:cool:)
3) What was the deal with the Night Walkers and where did they come from?
4) What was the Stark family story?
4.1) What's the story about the North (this is why I needed a map:cool:)
5) What are the family trees?

Wiki got me spun up on all of this to give me a concrete understanding and some more. Maybe a little too much

But I'm good now. I'm just gonna ride this out. There are some characters that I don't quite get yet but once the time comes, I'll ask.

If you need any background info just let me know and I will do my best. If you have a question now I will get back to you in the afternoon, I'm going to bed.

Like I told amajorcupof I will get back to you in the afternoon if someone has not already answered.

I'm off to bed

sad part their wasnt even no spoilers really until that point...I dont understand why he would do some shit like that....:hmm::hmm::hmm:

We used to have an automatic ban (for a couple of days at least) if someone dropped a spoiler like that, especially in a thread title.

Some thought it was extra so I think they've ceased doing it but I would like to see it implemented again.

Some people like doing that shit just to be assholes.

It don't matter in this case. Dude was inaccurate anyway. That's all I'm going to say about that

Im lost as fuck.:smh:

I can understand people getting lost if they are just jumping into the series. I recommend watching all of season one. It should still be on HBO "On Demand".

I watched the entire first season over a single weekend. The show is like crack. You can't stop watching and you want more and more. Best show on TV.

1.Him and Ned rebel against the Mad King aka Daenerys Targaryen father. Her father was like Joffrey but alot worst..

2.Viserys Targaryen was the next person to take his father place but since Robert wanted to kill every single Targaryen,he had to flee to Essos...Dany was a baby(I think) when that happened....Keep in mind that the Targaryen had ruled for generations

4.?

4.1

smoke knows alot more than I do since Im still in the second book but I hope this helps....

Thanks ansatsusha_gouki I'm good with all that.

I was just giving smoke a background on why I took to wikipedia to get answers to some puzzling questions I had. I'm good now.

Thanks ansatsusha_gouki! You and smokedacane have been very helpful! Yeah I have watched all of season one and watched it again when they replayed it the last couple of weeks leading into the new season. There were a few spots I was cloudy on, but y'all have helped me out. I haven't read the books, but my girlfriend's sister is currently reading the first one. I think I'll get it from her after she's finished with it. I got my girlfriend and her sister hooked on "The Walking Dead" books. I usually get the paperback volumes that come out, and they she just got through reading my "Rise of the Governor" book.

That little faggot ass Joffrey makes me mad every time he's on the screen! I loved when Tyrion was slapping his bitch ass in the first season and telling him to express his condolences!

Maybe someone can explain this to me. In the beginning of the show Dany is walking through the desert with just a small band of Dothraki. I think they only had like 4 horses and about 20-30 people. What happened to the rest of the Dothraki hoard? Did they splinter from the group after Drago died? Did they all die from exposure in the desert? Did they just refuse to follow a women and decided to go their own way? The Dothraki horde was a great, fearsome army...what the hell happened to them?

:lol:Unfortunately looks like you are correct! Even Ma Dukes can get the executioner!

When Joffery said that, Cersei gave that look like....WTF have I created.

No one is safe as long as Joffery is on the throne. Joffery don't even give a shit about getting Jaime back. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Joffery goes after Tyrion for slapping him way back at Winterfell. :beatyourass:

they split before Drago died....when he was in that vegatative state...."won't follow a Kal who can't ride." =old white man

Yeah I saw it

Some asshole without warning dropped a big ass spoiler that was not even entirely accurate just for the hell of it.

You talking about tim rock?:lol::lol:

Ansatsusha

Jon storyline is one of my favorites

If he is the one talking about "Jeffrey" yeah

I saw that shit but since my brief research on wikipedia deemed it inaccurate I just brushed it off

guys, what was yesterday? April 1st right? It was an april fools joke. I only waited about 2 responses until i said it. The thread is safe, there are no spoilers (not by me anyway). People know damn well i would never post a spoiler. Yeah i read the books, but im not gonna ruin shit for everyone else.
