I predict Steward will make him more hittable by trying to orthodox him up. I'm just going on what happened to Hamed after Steward got a hold of him. Regarding Hamed and Steward, Foreman said during a telecast that if being wild and crazy got Hamed that far, they should have left him alone and not tried to make him orthodox. I tend to agree. Making Hamed orthodox just made him predictable. I guess I digressed.

IMO Gamboa gets way too sloopy in there....lets his guard down & gets tagged against B-level type fighters...

Stewart is a master at fixing cats game...especially footwork Wlad & Cotto come to mind....& he pushes his fighters like no other trainer in the sport I remember the crazy exchanges he had with Wlad in the corner....yelling at Wlad to put these bums away

I doubt he changes his style much....Stewart is great at helping your game not changing your whole style but I could be wrong....

anyway I'm excited to see Gamboa lace 'em up....

Good point. Sometimes the more unorthodox the better. Gamboa reminds me of Meldrick Taylor. I remember when Georgie Benton started working with him on head movement after his initial professional fights showed his defense was bad. He display great elusiveness in a bout against Cubanito Perez , but later reverted back to his poor defensive ways against Chavez and, well we know the rest. I wouldn't be surprised if Gamboa's career went similar.

I think Emmanuel is hot and cold. He seems to have an awesome effect on some guys and the exact opposite on others. His results with Jermain Taylor always puzzled me. It's like they just never clicked or something.

speaking about Taylor dude is really on a comeback after Abraham not only gave him a concussion but he had some bleeding in his brain...
