Do we though??? The bats are inconsistent as fuck. As long as Ive been a fan, the starting pitching and closer spot is normally pretty good. The Bullpen, and skill positions though???... The Sox need the bats. You can always sign/draft pitching. But good, consistent bats... You need to keep them. We need Abreu and Frazier to start hitting for avg. IMO if we can get the run support the pitching will be ok. They have to pitch damn near perfect to give the team a chance most nights. Thats the issue. Cant ask those guys to do that and have them hold up all season.

What ends up happening is our arms are consistently failing to close the door. We got solid bats just need to get over the hump and hit for average. Our problems stem from letting clubs hang around. We need to be able to not just politely shUT the door we have to slam Tha bitch! We get up by 2-3 runs but it's not over with our arms. Ijs. So frustrating!
The boys had 2 hits today... Looking at this lineup top to bottom there should never be a time where they get 2 hits... Quintana pitched his ass off... Again, and they cant even get runners on base. SMH...

We was up against harvey today - he's got his stuff back wasn't expecting big hits today. In the last 3-4 games we had leads going to the 8th and blew all of them. That is on the arms. Don't know who's available but we need some arms. Sale and Quintana are our 1-2, 3-5 is just above ass.
By in large... But the bandwagon has been filling up the last 12-18 months. So I see more and more Cub fans... Even here in Charlotte, where there arent a large amount of former Chicagoans. Im damn near alone come football and basketball season when I rock my Bears/Bulls gear. But theres Cubs shit everywhere.
