Geminid Meteor Shower and it happens every year as the Earth passes through the orbit of the 3200 Phaethon asteroid. It's been observed since the late 1800's

I went out with the family to watch them late last night. Majority of them didnt have tails. Now if they were moving in zig zags or doing loops, then that's another thing... But I don't think that's the case based on what you wrote

ok i didnt know this- i kinda feel better ,but from what i saw this morning - its like the first pic you posted - you see the star in the middle how its just sitting there all round n bright, now in real time that shit just drop str8 down unless im confused and i caught an already falling no-tail meteor

No worries. I remember a couple years back I was out late smoking a cig and noticed those fuckers fall out the sky. I got freaked out for a second myself...
