I've been smoking off and on for about 17 years now. Damn I can't believe it's been that long since I first hit a blunt. Like any habit, the first 10 days of stopping are difficult. But it's a lot easier if you keep yourself engrossed in a particular activity and constantly tell yourself that there is no such thing as withdrawal because really if you don't get yourself worked up about it it's not a big deal. I always feel so much more alert, energetic, clearheaded, and confident when I'm NOT smoking. It's like my mind instantly comes up with better ideas and all. IMO, smoking should be reserved for weekends or vacations when you don't have shit to do. Not that I always follow that rule
