Fuck this place! (The Expat thread)

What part of Panama? I was in Panama 2-3 times this year. I probably hit 3-4 cities. Rainy season is real.

Just coming back from Aruba for the 3rd time since May. In the Uber right now, in fact. I hate coming back. My wife wants a certain neighborhood in Aruba. I’m like we’re poor out here. We’ve gotta get in where we fit in. A bunch of multimillion dollar homes in this neighborhood. Where’s the cheapest one y’all got?

Banks want 40% down. I can do 10-25 maybe. Not 40 this second.
Calidonia area on Avenida Balboa in Panama City.

My stuff just got here earlier from Phoenix, thankfully i didn't have too much to pack(just my clothes,my TV and game console, and my computer desk with my PC which i have to finish setting up and get my cousin's wifi password..)

Wonder if all the celebrities who saying they getting out of the U.S if Trumpf wins stay true to their word this time

Pretty much an ad but good advice.

Good info.

However, be aware that, when getting documents apostilled (I got mine done at the secretary of state office), be prepared to tell the clerk which country you want a particular document apostilled. I was asked "for what country?" when I had my birth cert apostilled. The wording is different, depending upon the country you are interested in.

When we decided to move to Panama, we got our FBI background checks done, financial statements together, and hired a lawyer in Panama and sent it all to them.

When we got here, we spent about 15 minutes in the immigration office. The lawyers did everything before we got here. I'd definitely recommend hiring an immigration attorney in the country you plan on moving to before you do anything.
