One teenager is dead and two more injured after a high-speed crash in an allegedly stolen Maserati. Authorities say the three teenagers stole the unlocked vehicle from a driveway. The teens lost control of the car, ran over a curb, and crashed. One of the teenagers was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriffs say the other two are in the hospital, one with critical injuries and the other “not expected to make it.“

The driver of a stolen truck is speaking out about after a group of teens stole a Catholic Charities truck and took it on a joyride before plowing into a car and flipping the stolen vehicle. The truck also slammed into a home around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on 119th Avenue and 192nd Street in St. Albans, leaving debris strewn across the lawns of two homes. The violent collision was caught on video by home security cameras, and somehow no one was killed or seriously hurt. Authorities say the 63-year-old driver was making a food delivery for Meals on Wheels around 9:15 a.m. and left the vehicle running in front of a home on Baisley Boulevard, when three teens jumped into vehicle and fled northbound towards 171st Street. The driver, Balroop Primal, said he left the keys in the ignition while he was making the delivery.

Family has identified Marquis Hacket, 47, as the man killed in Sunday night’s crash at 20th Street and North Avenue. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is still reviewing charges against five teenagers who police say were in the stolen vehicle that crashed into the car Hacket was a passenger in. None of them were even old enough to drive. The five boys in custody for the crime are all just 13-, 14-, or 15-year-olds. Investigators say the teens in the stolen vehicle committed an armed robbery earlier in the day and were leading police on a high-speed chase when the crash happened. Police say they recovered a gun in the car. “I talk to him every day, but that night he didn’t answer his phone,” said Dottie Hacket, Marquis’ mom. “I went to be not knowing my son was dead in the street.” Marquis’ mom says you never actually think it’s going to be you or your loved one who is killed, but until this kind of reckless behavior stops, it very well could be.
