Freeman (Dick Anthony Williams) pretends to be a lawyer, runs for city council, and wants to buy an abandoned building to start a production line company. While his dreams seem sensible, Freeman's reality is that he's broke, living with his parents and pregnant wife, and getting into trouble. His friend Rex (Louis Gossett), a successful businessman, wants to help Freeman but can't support his erratic decision-making.

Is Freeman the last revolutionary, speaking truth to power or is he a deluded bullshitter who believes his own hype???

cued to an interesting part in the show....

it’s important to know your worth and to never lose sight of your passions. When you stop pursuing them, it is in that moment where we truly start dying.
However, it is one thing to speak about impacting change and and having tenets, but it’s an entirely different thing to make moves to see them a reality.
No man worth his salt would sleep well living in their parents basement with a baby on the way, and pitch schemes and dreams that wasn’t furnishing a better life for those that rely on him.
Sometimes people with Master’s degrees have to uber or DoorDash to feed their families. Sometimes middle-aged, former corporate managers have to work for kids in their 20’s.
Hold tight to your dreams and while in the struggle hustling, make moves towards getting out of it. Otherwise, you’re all about talk…and talk doesn’t get it done.

Damn dude I was hoping for a round table discussion on society's impact on a Black person's psychological health and you damn near shut the thread down! :itsawrap:

Next time you go last...let other people get a chance! :fuckyousay:
