If all your traffic comes from the same (or same few) refferer(s), they have the option of not paying you.....

At least thats what they say....

In the past I have only purchased and sold domain names.
Or purchase, slap up a site to build traffic and sold....

Ive never just parked for the traffic income. So I read up on it last night.

Check your site, the adsense code is being blocked a lil bit by your green banner. And since your site is so linear, put a adsense banner going down on the right side to get some more hits as people scroll down.

Other than that, looking good!

Word. I switched a few things around. According to google, you can have up to three ad units and one link unit on any page.

I currently have three ad units. Two text joints up top and an image ad at the very bottom.

I also plan to explore Adsense for the search function. See how that works out. But everything is shaping up pretty nicely.

If you havent seen it yet... check it out!!

B-Abstracted

That my new hustle joint is looking good homie. I didnt even consider putting the ad directly into the page. I might have to look into that. I set it up so i get stats as to which ad location is working out the best.

I also need to make sure the XHTML validates...the CSS validates, that it is section 508 compliant, and all that good shit.. the more accessable your site.. the more likely it is to be at the top of the search list. :cool:
 
Thanks Quilly. All that's left for all of us is to continue to bump the shit out of this thread, add content to our sites, and get continuous traffic. I was thinking about the search function too, but since I already have a field there I'm not going to worry about it.

you might want to add that referral shit..refer people to use firefox...adsense..etc and generate money that way.. i wanna do it but im running out of real estate and dont really have a prime spot to put the referral button in. i may change a few things around though....Coolio you look like you have a decent amount of space to work with. I'm Really trying to optimize the stream of revenue and traffic coming in.. now all thats left is to put some more content there :cool:

the link for steve paglina doesnt work. in the actual link you typed an extra set of "http://" into the link. just look at the link carefully and fix it.

otherwise its cool pimpin. u know i gotta put you on to that fix

Also, as far as the best place to get a domain name, or the cheapest place, I'll have to disagree with Mr. Jody and say 1&1.com is cheaper, they usually have theirs for $5.99. But you can only do it one year at a time, and you'll have to renew it, so for multiple years at one time, GoDaddy.com is the best place.
