Here's a part of a story I read on MSN it shows what power people could have if they really wanted it.

Last week, MSN Money published a column by Scott Burns that focused on customer-service problems at Home Depot (HD, news, msgs). The response was overwhelming: Thousands of readers posted messages on our boards and more than 10,000 e-mailed editors here to share their own stories of time wasted at Home Depot's stores. In response to that outcry, Home Depot’s new CEO, Frank Blake, posted his own message here. Below is a copy of that post.

I've read a number of the postings on the MSN message board (unfortunately, there were a lot of them), and we've dispatched a dedicated task force -- working directly with me -- that is ready and willing to address each and every issue raised on this board. If Black people would just organize a little, I don't mean form a govt. just organize the worst areas of our community we could change things over night. If 10,000 emails can make Home Depot act right imagine what it would do to a senator, congressman, mayor or a news agency. I brought it up on the business board about what Bill O'Reilly does with just 2,000 emails and how we can do it too. FOX is right on one point, we do have the power.
 
Thanks Muck. Help me with something here Muck. Why can't I simply trust the content of this video? On the surface I know the mission is to nullify FoxNews but the individual clips are worth dissecting for discussion. Because in all fairness, if someone was to promote you as a subversive who promotes racial bigotry and place you in custody, not offer you a chance to defend your point of view I would call them unfair. Wouldn't you? By the same token these clips strung together does the same thing.

Now I could give a shit about FoxNews, CNN or the alphabet networks because in my opinion they all plant stories to make black people JUMP, but on the content of this vid, it's worth discussion.

Yes Foxnews is bigoted on their opinion shows, make sure we focus on that part, not the whole network. CNN and MSNBC are no different. Shit if you look at most of the media you can say that!!!

All of media is racist, because America is racist. Fox is just in the vanguard of the so called main stream of giving whites the permission to openly express their racism and not feel guilty (the concept that conservatives say is “liberal guilt”). Not only do you see overt racism on the Faux Snooze channel, television offers no real images of Black folks. Most of the racism today seems to be expressed by whites under 50 and much of that is by whites under 30. 50 years ago, the separate but equal laws (Jim Crow) began to be overturned. From that point until now, there appears to be a backlash against Black folk’s equality, in particular the gap in social class justice. After almost 30 years of neo con political philosophy (in 1980 when Reagan formally kicked off his general campaign for president in Philadelphia, Mississippi, the area where the 1964 murders of three civil rights workers took place) ruling the national agenda the divide between people of African decent in the main stream and whites has actually gotten wider.

Remember these numbers the next time O'Reilly says his ratings are up, and remember that he is lying to you, then remember he claims to have a no spin zone. How can you claim to have a no spin zone if you cant even tell the truth about your ratings. Not only are his ratings down 22 percent from October of 2005, they are down 37 percent from his high of 3.1 million viewers a night in 2004. Yet "Billy" is on the Factor about once a month thanking his viewers for the ratings increase. When your ratings have dropped 37 percent in the last 2 years how in the hell is that a ratings increase, and how is that a no spin zone.

O'Reilly Factor:

Total Viewers - Oct. 2006 -- 2,081,000 --- Oct. 2005 -- 2,678,000 --- 22% Drop
25-54 Demo - Oct. 2006 -- 470,000 --- Oct. 2005 -- 518,000 --- 9% Drop

Now compare that to the numbers for Keith Olbermann, his ratings have actually went up, and he is the #1 rated show on MSNBC.

Following up on the black challenge to Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and others:

A few days ago, we began talk of holding Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity accountable for their racialized smearing of Senator Barack Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

This event was only the latest in non-stop racial attacks by those in the “Axis of Ignorance”, engaging in consistent social terrorism of people of color. Many of us sat angry and hurt as we felt defenseless to counter the lies being told on airwaves and media channels that distort elections and mute black voices across America.

Hundreds of you emailed us back with great ideas, including Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who reminded us of the importance of engaging in action and not feeling that we are powerless to respond.

We also heard from individuals affiliated with the Obama campaign, who reminded us to keep believing in our power to overcome.

In my mind, the issue is not whether Pastor Wright was right to speak, or if Senator Obama was right to denounce him.

The issue was that two powerful, intelligent black men were being forced to end their 20 year relationship because racist individuals decided to paint an educated ex-Marine with a critical mind as an unpatriotic lunatic. I have dealt with O'Reilly and Hannity up close on MANY occasions, and I can assure you that they DO NOT have the interests of black people at heart.

While O’Reilly, Limbaugh and Hannity have a right to speak freely, I am sure many of you agree that they should not be allowed to attack your leaders using your money. So, to help the cause, we’ve gathered a list of corporate sponsors for Fox News. I don't understand why you hijacked my thread. Why a white liberal is doing this? On the web site "FOX Attacks," these were just a few of the vidz on that site. Most were not emphasizing Faux Snoozes racism exclusively, I can't speak for the white liberal, but evidentially they/he are/is highlighting the toxicity of Faux Snooze, from their/his white liberal perspective. And in my Black liberal point of view they/he hit the nail on the head.
