A former Houston mayoral appointee raged at a Texas girls camp for being “white-only’’ — hours after deadly flooding ripped through the facility, killing at least five young campers and leaving 11 more missing.

“I know I’m going to get cancelled for this, but Camp Mystic is a white-only girls’ Christian camp. They don’t even have a token Asian. They don’t have a token Black person. It’s an all-white, white-only conservative Christian camp,” Sade Perkins said in a widely condemned video on her private TikTok account.

“If you ain’t white you ain’t right, you ain’t gettin’ in, you ain’t goin’. Period,” Perkins said — as the state’s overall death toll from the devastating flooding soared, with the number of dead at 80.

She then claimed no one would care if the victims were minorities.

“If this were a group of Hispanic girls out there, this would not be getting this type of coverage that they’re getting, no one would give a f–k, and all these white people, the parents of these little girls would be saying things like ‘they need to be deported, they shouldn’t have been here in the first place’ and yada yada yada,” Perkins said.

Her term expired in January — and Houston Mayor John Whitmire said Sunday that he has no plans to reappoint her, particularly after her “deeply inappropriate comments.”

In the first 2.5-minute video that Perkins posted after the flooding, she recorded the rolling homepage for Camp Mystic while ranting about its “exclusionary” habits that fostered a “whites-only enclave.”

The post quickly went viral as it drew massive criticism.

Perkins, seemingly energized by the hate she was receiving, punched back with another video.

“I get that white people are not used to people telling them and calling them out on their racism and telling them about their double standards and how you wouldn’t give a damn about other children and how there’s children in ICE detention right now who y’all don’t give two f–ks about,” she ranted. “There’s no prayers going up for them, but we’re supposed to stop the world and stop everything we’re doing to go and hunt for these little missing white girls.”

Perkins lamely added that she still hopes the missing campers are found.

Whitmire said her comments hold “no place in a decent society.”

HOUSTON, TEXAS: Houston mayoral appointee Sade Perkins was fired after she went ballistic, criticizing Camp Mystic, a Texas campsite where seven young girls lost their lives in floodwaters, and called it a "white-only girls" Christian camp.

The death toll from the catastrophic flooding in Central Texas has climbed to over 82, with dozens still unaccounted for. In Kerr County alone, search teams have recovered 68 bodies, including 28 children.

Sade Perkins fired for saying Camp Mystic is 'white-only girls' Christian camp

In a series of videos shared on TikTok, Sade Perkins vented her frustrations as she called Camp Mystic a "whites only Christian camp" just hours after the flash floods ripped through Texas on July 4.

"I know I'm going to get cancelled for this, but Camp Mystic is a white-only girls' Christian camp," she said in one of the clips.

"They don't even have a token Asian. They don't have a token Black person. It's an all-white, white-only conservative Christian camp," Perkins further added.

Soon after her video went viral, Perkins was admonished by Houston Mayor John Whitmire, who said he would take steps to remove her from the board.

However, she doubled down on her remarks and went on to blame President Donald Trump, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick for the floods, describing them as "totally preventable."

Furthermore, she complained that she had become "the scapegoat to cover up for the f***up of a flood," instead of addressing what she argued was the "reason" for the natural disaster, "of course your friendly MAGA Trump up there in the White House."

"I did not cause the flood, nor did I cause the failure from the National Weather Service and FEMA. Those were done by design, by the Lieutenant, and by the Governor, and your f****** President," Perkins said.

Houston Mayor John Whitmire calls out Sade Perkins for her statement

John Whitmire released a statement following the controversy surrounding Sade Perkins' social media post.

"The comments shared on social media are deeply inappropriate and have no place in a decent society, especially as families grieve the confirmed deaths and the ongoing search for the missing," Whitmire said.

He added, "The individual who made these statements is not a City of Houston employee. She was appointed to the City's Food Insecurity Board by former Mayor Sylvester Turner in 2024, and her term expired in January 2025."

Moreover, Whitmire mentioned that steps were being taken "to remove her permanently from the board" and vowed he "has no plans to reappoint her."

Interestingly, Perkins showed no regrets after being publicly scolded by the mayor.

"You people are f****ng crazy, you people are insane. And the video is still up and I still stand behind, 10 toes down on the motherf***ing ground," she said about her critics.

Internet slams Sade Perkins for her videos on Camp Mystic

Several internet users slammed Sade Perkins after she went ballistic, criticizing Camp Mystic and calling it a "white-only girls" Christian camp.

A user wrote on X, "Sade Perkins is the most vile person on the planet. Cant believe shes from the great state of Texas," while one added, "Sade Perkins is a demonic soul."

A pediatrician has been fired over a vile post suggesting that the more than 80 killed in the horrific Texas floods — including dozens of kids — were Trump supporters who got “what they voted for.”

Dr. Christina B. Propst drew widespread scorn following the disparaging, since-deleted post under her old Facebook username, Chris Tina, according to Mediaite.

“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,” Probst wrote in the now-viral post.

“Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts.”

The Facebook post quickly went viral after a screenshot was shared by Libs of TikTok.

Propst’s employer, Blue Fish Pediatrics, initially said the employee had been suspended — before announcing that “the individual is no longer employed” by them.

“As we previously mentioned in our original statement, we strongly condemn the comments that were made in that post. That post does not reflect the values, standards, or mission of Blue Fish Pediatrics,” the company said.

“We do not support or condone any statement that politicizes tragedy, diminishes human dignity, or fails to clearly uphold compassion for every child and family, regardless of background or beliefs,” the doctor’s office added.

A previous initial statement saying that she had been placed on leave was shared by the head of the Texas Medical Board, Dr. Sherif Zaafran.

“There is no place for politicization. The entire focus needs to be on looking for survivors. Any complaints we may receive will be thoroughly investigated,” he posted on X.
