NEWSFLASH! Former Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner is selling his Suwanee mansion.

Turner was once a well paid member of the Falcons franchise, but was booted from the team March 1, 2013, after failing a physical, saving the team a whopping $6.9 million in salary-cap space.

Unfortunately, the pro-bowler hasn’t been able to secure a professional spot since leaving the team and I’m almost positive his many baby mamas were a bit surprised at his financial decline.

Turner was once a star player for The Atlanta Falcons. He played here from 2008-2012 after arriving from a short stint with the San Diego Chargers (2004-2007).

It’s sad to see the former footballer downsizing, but if you’d like to help your favorite blogger upgrade, I’m certainly not above accepting donations for my new home purchase.

Damn, this is a spectacular house....though
here in Texas, you would be paying roughly
$70k annually in property taxes

Clean house. I wouldn't even have 1/4 of the size house. I'd have a normal house with a large garage behind it.

Time to get a normal house like the rest of us 1400-1600 sq ft get a 9-5 like the rest of us (Life is like a party & parties were meant to last ) prince parties over

That's a nice crib.

So much maintenance to keep up a house like that though. I wonder much a month that would be?

Props to his real estate agent - they are doing a GREAT job marketing the property. Wish it were on more than 1.1 acres, though - that's a LOT of house! Better, clearer pictures without the "Str8 from the A" logos:

Here are more details than anyone not in the market should want:
Bought in 2008 for $2.01M; 2015 appraised value $1.44M.
2014 property tax bill of $19,942 on an assessment value of $543,080.

A lot of similarities between our homes but his is much, much bigger. The trick isn't to buy the home and have to sell. The trick is to have and hold or upgrade.
