Forgiving others (are how are you with it)

Forgiving. . .i'm not sure what it means. I never felt compelled to forgive someone because i never dwell on shit and it doesn't eat me up.

And it's funny at the same time to because forgiving is something you do for yourself.


If you forgive someone do you also restore your respect and or trust for them at the same time?

Or do they have to earn your respect back?
Maybe perhaps your trust to?

Forgive-1 a: to give up resentment of or claim to requital for <forgive an insult> b: to grant relief from payment of <forgive a debt>
2: to cease to feel resentment against (an offender) : pardon <forgive one's enemies>
