i dont have a problem with him exploring different genres of music BUT
i find it funny that he seems to downplay rap at his age bracket when he doesnt need too. its ok to venture out and explore different types of music but you dont have to downplay the music(rap) that fed your family.
also there are rappers his age and older still touring and feeding their family like Krs-one and even old school rappers like the Sugar Hill Gang. Stetsasonic one of the first hip hop band talked about reuniting. People still pay to see and hear Big Daddy Kane for example.
