For people who live in South Florida. Is now the time to exit?

Many of us felt it last year, my Texas Windstorm Ins company went insolvent last year. Thousands of people across the south was forced to go with others mid term of the policy, was a headache.

I knew a white guy...became wealthy by owning insurance companies in Florida...every time a major hurricane came through he would let the company go under and come back under a new name.

Florida has an insurance fund mandated that everyone pays into. When a company goes insolvent the fund picks up the slack. People still got their claims covered....basically free premium coming in...when time came to pay up just fold the company.

Florida is a fuckedup Place right now when it comes to almost everything.
LOL Yep... I fly into Ft Lauderdale, and less than 48 hours I'm ready to leave. I visited this small town called Cloudcroft, New Mexico recently and really thinking about getting a home up in the mountains.
