It is not so much his flow or his delivery. I think he worked on that. The reason why I not a fan of his is because he never talks about shit. It is just the same old topics(drugs/hoes/cars/jewelry/guns) that him and all these other industry rappers constantly keep recycling. As an MC who saw his hometown devasted by Katrina you would think he would try to be atleast a little more conscious............

Hey i love Common also, but Hip Hop has changed and Common hasn't evolved with it. I'm not all about the rappers that rap about hoes, cars, and jewelry all the time. Wayne is on another level, his metaphors are off the chain. The problem is you guys are just hearing the music, you got to listen to his lyrics, thats where he shines. Every rapper isn't gonna rap about the same things. Wayne raps about New Orleans and what he's seen growing up. Thanks for posting that Common track, how did you embed it? I tried to copy and paste the embed link from youtube but it didn't work. Just stop and listen for a second, its funny cause i have some friends that would say the same shit about Wayne till they actually listened carefully. Hip Hop hasn't changed, if anything its corporate America's vice grip on rap and these homo thugs that are corrupting the game, now more so than ever and Lil Wayne is the ring leader, ushering in a new wave of funny lookin corny ass gimmick rappers. Seriously, when will ya'll get off this niggas dick!? I dont get it....He was ok when he was the lil nigga runnin w/ the Hot Boys but since their separation this nigga has blatently swagger jacked Hov and put his corny southern twist on it, he wasn't even writing his own shit at one point (i.e. Gillie) He's one dimensional, no content, annoying ass voice, and damnit if it hasn't been said enough this nigga KISSES grown men on the fuckin mouth wtf!? For the record, I listen to the lyrics first. Then i hear the beat. I don't judge rappers by hot beats, which is what wayne is surviving on. I fhe depended on his lyrics he'd be gone a long time ago.
