The N.O. is not a gang city. Im NO born and raised. Cats down there is just out for themselves. I dont know where this blood thing came from. I stayed in uptown. Im a J. F Kennedy grad. aint no bloods shit was poppin. Still aint today... I remember before Baby had all his cars painted red. They were all painted green. Ya know for the money... But this Blood stuff came out. They wasnt even reppin that in the past. Well I guess lil wayne being away from the hood since he was 14 and going to a private school(Mcmain). He had to have something to boost his gangster image

he had to ask his mother permission to start hanging aroung the studios and recording with cash money. he agreed to keep his grades up so that he could record with cash money. he is not even from the projects !!! he went straight from prep school to recording with cash money. cash money records was already established. Now Baby, Slim and juve and B.G. were from the jects, but Wayne ain't never been from the streets. closest he been to being a ganster is playing one on records. He has had pretty much a priveliged life. like I say he went from prep school to living in a big beautiful house provided by Cash Money records. He should be rapping about THAT...lol! Now, all of this is known in new orleans, coz there were newspaper stories about wayne's and cash money's rise in the local rags. now somebody is trying to re-write history. closest Wayne came to being a gangster is hanging out in the Plaza Mall being a Mall rat !! and that's the truth. Amen to the two brothers posting above,. I didn't see their post until after I wrote mine. But you can see that everybody in new orleans says the SAME thing.....ain't no organized bloods here (if they here they're only on vacation) and Lil Wayne was a prep school kid who used his smarts to rap on records! that's it!
