Two of America’s most recognizable dining chains are teaming up under one roof.
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar and IHOP (International House of Pancakes) are launching a new wave of dual-branded restaurants across the country, offering customers the full menus of both brands in a single location.

Much like the long-standing Taco Bell and KFC partnerships, these new combo locations will allow diners to order from either menu—whether they’re in the mood for pancakes or burgers, day or night.
The initiative is being led by Dine Brands Global Inc., the parent company of both Applebee’s and IHOP.
According to CBS News, the company has already begun rolling out this hybrid dining model.
The restaurants will feature two separate entrances, but both will lead to a shared kitchen and operational staff.
Guests can sit on either side and still access the complete offerings from both menus, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.
This innovative concept is designed to maximize convenience and revenue.
By serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night meals in one location, Dine Brands aims to significantly increase daily foot traffic and average ticket size compared to traditional standalone stores.
According to USA Today, this move also improves operational efficiency and offers more dining flexibility—especially in urban centers, suburban neighborhoods, and college towns, where both brands are already well established.
