Nah. Floyd fought him the way he's fought every fighter since Oscar. The difference is this guy ran out of gas and became vulnerable which is why it ended in a TKO. Good business man, great defensive fighter, but all the greats had knockout power and a high knockout ratios against other good fighters. Also, I give him credit for playing out "being flashy", took it to the to the next level with social media, he even humbled Birdman.

This. Floyd was supposed to retire 2 years ago and had everything to lose if he lost. People want to only look at this fight as if
it is the only one in history that had a legitimate contender or not. Does 7 million $100 ppv buys sounds like people wanted to see it? A day before the fight, 90+ percent of the bets
were for McGregor.

Every fight counts hands down and if McGregor wins, that would have counted and you would have seen green 49-1 all over the US.

Glad you mentioned them because technically the first (Williams) would have been his toughest opponent. You couldn't run from him. Long arms and jabs for days and enough power to put you to sleep. He had the choice to fight Margarito or Oscar. He chose Oscar and it made his career. Margarito fought Cotto, then Shane, got suspended for a year came back and got his shit caved in by Pacquiao.
