Flooding all over Da boot....updated 8/12, another storm headed for the gulf

If black folk wasn't affected by this I would say I hope on them cacs there drown in their shit

Yea many of our folks live in that area...
Plus more rain supportively coming thru.

Yea got this text around 7pm last night...

"Just went get some ppl out they apartment.. Complex on seigen water was waist high.."

"They called and i was able to so i went get em.. I got a video of the inside. I was trying to use the light but ws recording.
My apartment is fine. Lights and no flooding. I'm gucci."

If you look at the map above, find BatonRouge then travel south towards New Orleans....when you come to Laplace and highway 55 that's going north to Hammond this that area.

This region was hammered by Hurricane Sandy a few years back.
Lake Ponchatrain is right then, another day or two and that shit won't be good.

This is fucked up...
And you know those home insurance providers and their policies.
They love adding bullshit to their fine prints
"Yes, you have flood insurance, but you are only covered if two family members die."

That tropical moisture from Louisiana supposed to be headed towards Houston, hope that shit slacks up for Louisiana and hope Houston don't get flooded for the 3rd time this year

It is truly heartbreaking to see Louisiana in a state of disaster. The 2nd major flood this year #PrayForLouisiana

Pretty much all my fam is from Monroe. The insurance companies won't even look out for them from the last flood.

This may sound a bit harsh, but Baton Rouge is being flooded by tears of Alton Sterling.

Still Alton tears ain't stopped either bro...

Just got this:

Hey y'all. Just talked to y'all's brother. His apartment is under water. He's at a hotel now and about to make his way here.
