FLINT, Michigan: three members of the same family are charged with murder in fatal shooting of Family Dollar security guard

I despise, ignorant black trash, they are holding us back from greatness. They are either cutting side deals with white supremacists or doing shit like this to undermine us all the time.

One of them was standing outside my window when I woke up, they have been buzzing around doing ignorant shit for that last couple of days.

I was waiting for this to show up. Cause they must have just finished watching the wire. That could not have been his first murder. Imagine throwing it all a way to kill a complete stranger in broad daylight over that??!!!

That pussy must have saw the size of dude and knew he could not fight him.

RIP to the security guard. I don’t even care if he cussed them out. No need to kill him.

Yall remember that episode of The Wire?

QueEx posted a thread about white supremacists wanting to infect people with this virus based on Intel that the FBI had gotten. The first place they would go to is a black church or mass transit. With this shutdown in effect, it is protecting us from them. They might be able to infect one of us during a shutdown but can devastate us if we pack in a church or movie theater. I had a couple of them try to shake my hand or cough on me.

It is really not the disease you should be worried about, it is these people that will all of a sudden come into your community coughing.

She lied in her story. It wasn’t her daughter who wasn’t wearing a mask it was her. And she spit at the security guard.

Sharmel Teague, 45, was arraigned in Genesee County on first degree murder charges for the death of Calvin Munerlyn.

According to the prosecutor's office, Teague was shopping at Family Dollar without a mask when Munerlyn, a guard at the store, told her she needed to put one on.

Genesee County prosecutor David Leyton says Munerlyn got into an argument with the woman when he told he she needed to wear a face mask while inside the store.

It is required to wear a mask when in an enclosed public space, per Governor Gretchen Whitmer's executive order issued on April 24 to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Authorities say Teague began yelling at Munerlyn and spit at him. He then told her to leave and told an employee not to serve her.

The woman left the store and a short time later her husband and her son went to the store and confronted the security guard. Her son, identified as Ramonyea Bishop, 23, is believed to be the one who shot and killed Munerlyn. Police said he pulled out a gun and shot Munerlyn in the back of the head.

They were already shitty dudes, but it sucks to see how awful cunts can get men to do stupid shit. This happened in Philly a few years ago, when some lady called her brothers to shoot up the city bus...because someone said something to her about hitting her kid.
That shit was nuts. Niggas shooting up a city bus with an AK-47. The fucks wrong with people.:angry::angry::angry::angry:

Some people in our community sadly ain't been getting it and ain't gonna get it so we got to focus on improving ourselves, being there for our loved ones, and planning our futures. The lost knigrow minds are a hindrance to real black advancement. I really hated typing what I just typed but experience in our enclaves everywhere proves to me that the lost knigrows are manufactured to do what they do at the peril of our community.

how would you feel if you where selected for that jury tho ?

This shit is beyond sad and fucked up..we already getting fucked by corona and these simple fucks murder their own..I hope they get all that they deserve..you killed your brotha..real pieces of shit!!.

4th family member charged in murder of Family Dollar security guard who asked customer to wear mask
https://www.nydailynews.com/news/na...0200507-ung6sp3uwbg3vd7dtkiyis636y-story.html

A fourth person in a Michigan family was charged in connection with the murder of a Family Dollar security guard, prosecutors announced Thursday.

Brya Bishop was arrested days before her 25th birthday and charged with three felonies: tampering with evidence, lying to police and being an accessory after the fact, the Genesee County Prosecutor’s office said in a press release.

Three other members of Bishop’s family have been charged with murder in the shooting death of Calvin Munerlyn on May 1.

Prosecutors say Bishop’s mother, Sharmel Teague, began arguing with Munerlyn after he asked her to wear a mask inside a Family Dollar store in downtown Flint and then threw her out of the store when she refused and spit at him.

The 45-year-old Teague did not return, but her husband Larry, 44, and son Ramonyea Bishop, 23, entered the store moments later, police said. The two confronted Munerlyn before Bishop pulled a gun and shot him in the back of the head, according to cops.

Munerlyn, a 43-year-old married father of eight, was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.

Sharmel Teague was arraigned Tuesday on charges of first-degree premeditated murder and felony firearm possession, but her husband and son, both facing similar charges, are still at large.

Brya Bishop, however, has joined her mother in Genesee County Jail.

“Brya Bishop’s attempts to shield family members will not be tolerated and we will likewise hold anyone else involved in offering shelter and assistance to Larry Teague or Ramonyea Bishop accountable under the law,” county prosecutor David Leyton said in the release.

The only son of Bernadett Munerlyn, Calvin “Duper” James Munerlyn, was shot and killed Friday, May 1 at the Family Dollar off East Fifth Avenue just north of downtown Flint. He was 43 years old.

Calvin Munerlyn had worked as a security guard at the store for a little over a year and in the profession for three decades in the city, said Latryna Sims-Munerlyn, Calvin’s wife.

One of the couple’s sons also worked at the store. He wasn’t at work that day but had received a phone call from a fellow employee.

“My son called me and he said, ‘Mama, you got to get to the store,' and my heart just dropped,” she said. “I said, ‘Why son?' He said, ‘Mama, just go to the store.’”

When she arrived at the business, Sims-Munerlyn spotted yellow police tape.

“I just instantly thought my baby was gone,” she said as tears welled up at the vigil.
---

Sims-Munerlyn had met her husband 20 years earlier, with the pair hanging out when they saw each other at clubs in the city.

“One night he just came up to me and kissed me and took me home,” she recalled. “We’ve been together ever since.”

The couple has six children together. They were Munerlyn’s whole world, according to his wife.

“He was with my kids every day. He helped them with everything,” she said. “He taught them everything. He loved them babies with everything in him.”

Outside of the family home, Calvin Munerlyn also had a heart for others.

"That man was a legend out here, from troubled teenagers that he helped to taking care of his babies, his wife, his home,” said Sims-Munerlyn. “That man was just lovable.”
---

It really broke my heart because I know the kind of person he was,” said Bryant Nolden, District 1 County Commissioner Bryant Nolden, who also serves as director of Berston Field House, of Munerlyn. “This (death) was extremely senseless, over a mask.”

Munerly worked out three to four days a week in the weight room at Berston, offering free training sessions or taking the time to line dance with seniors.

“We need to stop the senseless violence in this community...he didn’t bother a soul," Nolden said. "All he wanted to do was take care of his family and he always had his kids with him. This is a real loss for the community.”

It’s alleged the 45-year-old woman and Munerlyn, who was working as a security guard at the time, got into a verbal dispute after he told the woman’s daughter she needed to wear a face mask while inside the store.

The woman’s daughter then left the store, but her mother began to yell at Munerlyn. He told the mother to leave the store and instructed a cashier not to serve her, according to investigative reports of the incident turned over to Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.

During a Monday, May 4 press conference, Leyton said there is video surveillance of the altercation between the woman and Munerlyn.

A short time later, the mother returned to the store with her 44-year-old husband and her 23-year-old son and confronted Munerlyn.

Leyton pointed out the wife called the husband between leaving in a red GMC Envoy to River Village Apartments and coming back to the store 20 minutes later with two men who came inside the store.

The 44-year-old man yelled at Munerlyn about disrespecting his wife, with the 23-year-old man accused of pulling out a gun and shooting Munerlyn in the back of the head, Leyton said.

Munerlyn was transported to Hurley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Yup he sounds like a real asshole.

Whole family is behind bars and two others who helped him escape to Texas.

One of the men charged in the murder of a security guard at a Flint Family Dollar will be returning to Genesee County to face several charges.

Larry Teague, left, and Ramonyea Bishop are charged with the murder of Family Dollar security guard Calvin Munerlyn.
Larry Teague was in a Texas courtroom Monday morning for an extradition hearing.

"While in the court hearing, he waived his extradition and agreed to return to Michigan," said Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton.

Teague was arrested in Houston last Thursday, wanted in connection with the murder of 43-year-old Calvin Munerlyn on May 1.

Police say the security guard at the Family Dollar store was shot after he told a relative of Teague's that she couldn't enter the store without a protective mask, as required to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Leyton said he was pleased his office will not have to prepare for an extradition hearing.

"Even though they are jailed and incarcerated, they like to get back to their home turf," Leyton said of why a murder suspect would decide not to fight extradition.

He said talks have started on how to bring Teague back to Flint. One option is the use of a transport company.

"They transport the prisoner back here. It's not a direct route from Houston. They might end up in Los Angeles before they get back to Flint, you never know. One other way is commercial airlines. Another way is private airplanes," he said.

Teague's step-son, Ramonyea Bishop and Bishop's sister and mother are also charged in the case.

The two people who police say helped Teague get to Texas, Laura Mitchell and Terrance Findley, also face criminal charges in Genesee County.

But they've been arraigned in Texas for hindering apprehension of a murder suspect, which could prolong their stay in Houston.

"I'm hopeful those two will also want to waive extradition and come back here," Leyton said.

Court records indicate Mitchell and Findley are being held on a bond in Texas, but its not clear when they will be back in court in Houston.
