Very simple. The yellow circle represents light. When it's over Austrailia is it also over the America?
If no yellow that means it's night time buddy.

How are you gonna limit the diameter of the SUN'S light rays on a flat earth?

So how can the moon be over Australia and the U.S. if the Sun isn't able to do it Dummy....
Because the sun is a focused beam of light coming from a big ass flashlight..
Because it's only 3000 miles high and it's light doesn't reach the WHOLE earth at the same time.
Thats not how light works... The only way for that to work is if there is direct light like that from a flash light or as a light with shutter doors or some kind of grid to direct the light beams.. But with a ball light is shining from every direction 360 degrees and as long as your flat you will always be able to see some light hitting you..
Not if it's past the vanishing point.
