Hey ;) Pile on the protein, keep the carbohydrates low and add a serving of vegetables to a minimum of two meals. Fresh ingredients are key, I shop almost daily for my meals and make sure the food is nutrient rich. Stay away from processed foods as much as possible...

We've got to step our game up... No wonder American's are so fat even though we talk about eating healthy 24/7....

"Durex recently released its Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey for 2007-08. Among the many conclusions they drew from the 26,000+ respondents was which country has the most frequent sex. I guess olives and feta cheese are aphrodisiacs, as the Greeks came out on top with 87% of them responding that they had sex on a weekly basis. Rounding out the top 3 spots were Brazil and Russia, neither of which are known for olives and feta, so I suppose my hypothesis is wrong. In any event, the USA limped in at 19th place with only 53% respondents claiming weekly satisfaction."

Include Natural Diuretics in Your Diet

There are many natural diuretics that are much healthier for weight loss than water pills. Eating a nutritious, balanced diet that includes low-fat dairy products, lean meats, whole grains, fruits and vegetables can help with water retention. There are also a few specific foods that are known to help lose water weight and keep it off. Following are some foods that will help:

Bananas, apricots, avocados and raisins are rich in potassium, which helps regulate your body’s fluid levels and relieves water retention.

Green vegetables, seeds and nuts are high in magnesium, which also helps relieve water retention.

Foods which are high in fiber such as whole grain cereal, whole grain rice and cabbage help with digestion, and relieve water retention and bloating.

Yogurt also helps with digestion, and helps to reduce water retention.

anyone doing zumba or yoga?

I do zumba every other weekend - like it to motivate myself to get to the gym on the weekends. I did yoga in grad school, but not anymore - it's a great way to relieve stress and also work on your body in a similiar way to pilates. I was my smallest in grad school, so perhaps I should go back to it

I can leave for months and come back and see GYH still dropping that work. Many others as well.

*Waits for some GYH recipes*
