Is there a quota or limit on number of votes? Some battles got less total votes than others.

By the way, some of us aint on here as frequently as others so I suggest we have a set (realistic) duration for battle to be completed and once the polls open, another deadline for all votes to be cast. Also, a minimum required number of votes that would at least make the results a little more statistically confident is a good idea.

Just my thoughts.

Maybe it was undecided. I didn't vote in yall battle cause I was undecided. But I'm improving this as I go. Plus we can't force people to vote or manipulate the votes. But I'm trying to keep this moving. So that everyone can get back to writing. It is what it is.

I think for this round, their should be more time because of the Holiday.. some people are busy doing Holiday stuff and not here... I think its only fair..

Sooo.. maybe you should redo the polls... ppl who have already voted can't change their votes.. and gives the other ppl a chance to vote...

I agree with Sean and Cleo. I also believe that you can't include people's votes that weren't suppose to vote in the first place. Like I know I lost and shit, but 4 of them muthafuckas shouldn't have even voted on my battle! :lol:

They were taken out, I told LS too from day 1 and she's been on it. The names were still up there but the votes didn't count.
 
I think us starting right around the holiday was sort of a gift and a curse. It was good because everybody was off and logging on and looking but it was bad because nobody had time to pay attention.

I think there would have been a lot more votes all around if people were actually paying attention or had time to.

I hear ya, Mac. :cool:

Understand that there will be some 'kinks' in the procedures, since this is the VERY first time. (like folks taking a long time to vote / or write). Plus the rules will get 'tweaked' here and there, as the competition moves forward.

And like Cleo pointed out.. i also agree that the holidays play a MAJOR factor in voting & whatnot. Most People are just chilling with fam, or maybe vacationing, or making plans for their New Year's Eve activities and such. :yes:

So I think the 'later rounds' will probably pick up steam, especially after New Year's.

Unlike yourself, I actually have no problems giving props where props are due.

There are a ton of incredible writers dropping gems in this forum utilizing a plethora of styles and I truly enjoy experiencing and appreciating the work that many of my peers put out herein.

If my style is not to your liking, then you just have to make like the Pharcyde and pass it by.

Please leave the unnecessary hate at the door.
