Sounds like, at the time, they just had a search warrant which allowed then to seize shit. Not an arrest warrant.
I have s friend who did 2yrs fed time for aggravated identity theft. They kicked in this apt door with an arrest warrant and just arrested him. Left his two computers, multiple tablets, printers cameras, etc all in his spot because they didn't have a search warrant. Having one doesn't mean you have the other.
They will seize ALL of his property and assets eventually though. The full weight of the United States govt hasn't got him yet but he will truly have nothing when it is all over.
