PROS:
6.4-L HEMI V8 with AWD gives you 0-60 in less than 4 seconds from a standstill.
8 speed gives you better fuel economy than the 5-speed.
Interior looks great, feels great and has plenty of luxury /tech features.
CONS
ZF 8-speed shifter is confusing.
Shift Paddles don't have off-switch
Engine/computer and Uconnect is slower than the 300 SRT's.
SUPERCHARGED BLACK PEOPLE: "AGE OF HELLCAT"
Published on Feb 18, 2016
A compilation of all the videos I made on my iPhone 6S + 128GB of my 2016 DODGE CHARGER SRT HELLCAT.
Basically, a FEATURE LENGTH FILM shot entirely on my iPhone6SPlus128GB.
(Now I can delete all of the clips from my phone so I can get my storage space ready for the N.A.I.A.S)
I bought a 2016 DODGE CHARGER HELLCAT
#1 I'm very disappointed that at it's $73,000 price it didn't offer the features in my Chrysler 300 SRT ($55,000)
a) no forward collision warning is a MAJOR letdown because this car sneaks right up behind people faster than your reflexes can respond to. Lack of front ultrasonic sensors makes the car harder to park.
b) no Adaptive Cruise Control - although "driving" this car is never "boring", I would never want to drive this long distance for too long.
c) All the money goes for the engine and powertrain. Interior is literally as boring as a $35,000 Charger AWD
d) No adjusting foot pedals
I can kind of understand why so many people DON'T LIKE DODGE. They do get you a car for a decent price, but the price of repair parts is high.
That said: the HELLCAT is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
#2 The SRT and HELLCAT are the only way to buy a Charger or Challenger. If you can only afford an R/T...despite Dodge trying to make people feel better with color schemes and interior schemes, you will ALWAYS feel disappointed. Interior upgrades are desperately needed in the 14' and up models.
I recommend:
a) Colored seat belts (based on paint color)
b) ALL of the SRT's features to be STANDARD on the HELLCAT
c) Radically different rear-end on the HELLCAT. It's not different enough. Most SRT owners simply buy a $1000 HELLCAT hood for their Charger SRT to make it LOOK like a HELLCAT.
