These are the books I had to hunt all over NYC to pick up when I was a kid.

That's how I found Jim Hanley's Universe.

It's a big comic store in NYC. They got it all. They even have local books written by local talent.

I must have been 9 years old when I got issue number 1 in my hand. The guy did not want to sell it to me at all. So I put it inside of Alpha Flight and tried be slick - He charged me for both books anyhow :)

I use to draw this character every day.

There is a B movie made on this comics too out there somewhere. I was always too afraid to look at it because it may tarnish my memories of the comics.

Dude. U read this shit at the age of 9??????????????????? FUCK! I know your mind is GONE. I'll never forget the day I found this shit. Picked up issue 8 by chance off the cover. Artwork hooked me from page 1. Started readin and got to where dude raped his wife then Faust comes in and cuts off his dick and makes him put it in his mouth. I just stood there grossed out but could'nt put that shit down. After that I tracked down the other issues. Man TIm and Dave had mufuckas waitin like 6,7,8 months between issues sometimes. THat shit would sell out everytime.

Yall know they made a movie of this too right? I got that shit off Netflix. They stayed true to the story.lol. Straight up slasher shit.

LOL - Maybe. I will say this. I never liked Wolverine as a kid. So when Wolverine fans use to get puffy - I would bust out one of these books...Most dudes would be like "Not man that is too far..." I was like but the dude you guys have on your wars...is suppose to be like this...LOL

Believe it or not this book is the reason I got into opera.

Yeah...I have a huge comic collection. Around that time I was about sick of xmen and batman, etc. Started checkin out independents. Any fuckin thing that was different. Discovered a lot of great books and this was one of em. Probly my favorite isssue is 4 I think it was. Where dude killed like half the mob in that warehouse butt ass naked wit just the claws.
