Just for your information, Mrfreddygoodbud, it's "loses," it's better to use the active voice in these articles; "loses" is more alive than "lost." To explain further, an action happened "is labeled mentally ill" and following that action, the father "loses it;" it wouldn't be "lost it." Read it to yourself.
Active Voice example:
"Father of a Miami man loses it in court after security guard who killed his son is labeled mentally ill."
