Fair or ignant? dude breaks up with his gal when she cuts her hair?

Ask for permission??? Why should she have to? C'mon man yall become sooo hard on what you want us to look like while we accept guys as they are.

Shit is exhausting

I mean... Not permission per-say... But anything that drastically alters your appearance... Talk about it with your mate. Hair... Maybe not as big of a deal to women, probably a bigger deal than it needs to be to men. I don't want my wife cutting her hair... She doesn't want me getting a motorcycle. She chop her shit is like mutually assured destruction around this bitch.

I can guarantee she's mentioned that cut several times. If they broke up for that reason, dude was waiting on his exit opportunity.

And the motorcycle is more dangerous than her cutting her hair. Chill with that lol

That's just our thing. It's not eye for an eye. But I'd never say... Go get a tattoo without running it past her first. Not saying you, but I've heard women say what their man thinks about their hair is irrelevant. I think that's the wrong way to go about business. That's all I'm saying. But yeah if he left behind that, he was already gone.

Yeah because I told my ex several times I was going to cut my hair and go natural a couple of YEARS before I actually did it. Just to feel him out. He said he was ok with it. I don't think he actually thought I would do it.

I waited until I was single to actually do the big chop tho. Partly because of some of the horror stories I heard about menfolk and the workplace showing out. I've heard from him a couple of times since then but I haven't seen him in person. He's seen my Facebook pics tho. My job doesn't care about hair.

His sexuality is in question
She is gorgeous

I seen this on the timeline last night, I through a shot at shorty. I appreciate a woman with short hair, I find it sexy in a lot of instances. And I prefer a black woman to have natural hair.

Work wasn't an issue which I was very concerned about but even our CEO stated how much he loved it. But it took him to be the negative one and it stuck with me for a while and I did basically say get over it because we had discussed it before.

This came to mind:

Gurl when I cut my hair my mama cried. She wouldn't even look at me. She was always the one telling me I didn't need a relaxer. I heard her on the phone several months later telling one of her friends how fast it grew back tho. She was ok after I got some length back.

My nieces teased me, then both of them ended up going natural later. I think I did look rough at first tho. And the back of my head is FLAT...lol... so those cute lil scarves naturals wear slide right on up and off. This one guy gave me this weird look but didn't say anything. I go to the restroom and come back. Scarf looking crazy. That kneegrow let me walk around like that too...lol...

One of my friends went natural for a while, I don't know if she is relaxed now or not. She relaxed it but was complaining about it thinning so I thought she was going to try natural again. I think she may have some hair loss due to heavy and tight braids.

At work this one guy just told me I better hurry up and grow it back. The scarf dude was a co-worker also.

This lady at my church told me she and her husband separated over her hair. I don't recall if they reconciled tho.

I started getting regular trims every 3 months this year so I've been getting more compliments than before. Normally I'd only cut it once or twice a year. It has a much better shape now. I'm starting to get greys now tho.

When chicks cut their hair like that, even if they are not gay, it gives off a dyke energy.

If I had a dollar for every chick that got a low cut and started getting hit on by dykes, I would be rich by now.

I have to admit it's very challenging for me because I normally don't like dealing with my hair. And I decided to go natural after being diagnosed with lichen planopilaris. I'm looking for a natural stylist now because I just tried to rod it and babyyyyy this is NOT for me. I love it but I need to find a way to become creative with it. I'm 4c around the sides and my crown area and the top is soft like cotton and I can't get a decent curl pattern. Lol But I refuse to go back.

I didn't think my mom would like it either because she's very vocal about natural hair but she even stated how much she loves it

Fake news

Yeah I think it’s fake too

This is not uncommon at all. A whole lot of relationships have gone south over women going natural. A lot of it is the initial short length tho, as soon as it grows out most menfolk calm down. I figure if he can't weather a haircut, there is no way he can survive a physical disability or something. Find out early and be rid of him.

That said, men don't like stuff based on perception of what a woman is wearing. On the hair boards a lot of women used to participate in hide your hair growth challenges where you do protective styling for several weeks or months at a time and take before and after pictures. So this one chick wears her hair out after a few months and her husband yells at her and told her to get that stupid looking weave out her hair. It was all hers... smh..she was relaxed tho. I think she may have eventually gone natural.

A lot of these menfolk that claim they want natural women break their necks getting to the ones with weave all down their back. If men really hated weaves, women wouldn't wear them. Weaves get attention so they will continue to wear them.

We don’t have a problem with weave really but a lot of chicks go to far with it, weave touching their butt one day, then curly fro thing few days later, then cornrows, black one week, blonde the next..etc.. just to much

WOWWWWWWWW...hold on, I don’t mind a short cut but this chick got a full fade WITH A LINE IN IT!!!!!

I got a homie just like this. He won't fuck with no broad if her hair is cut short no matter how fine she is.

That says a lot more about him that the chick though. If you’re that turned off by short hair you’ve got some issues with your masculinity.
