I'm sure that plan has been in place for months. it's too late for Trump and this is WAY bigger than trump now. He's going to try to fire Mueller.. I'm SHOCKED he hasn't done it yet, but people probably have successfully talked him out of it several times but I think now he knows it's do or die.
Like I just wrote to EB in the other post. Trump, honestly can't wait and see if Mueller is going to get him. That seems all but assured that he will box him in nicely. Mueller seems like a throughout cat!
If you're dealing with a skilled opponent like that you can't hope to beat him fairly. Now is the time to try everything to throw him and the board out of play and hope things align a little more your way.
This is what I keep wondering about... WHAT career professional in their right mind would step into a fired Rosenstien's shoes, knowing fully well they would be expected to get rid of Mueller? It would be career suicide.
Trump is yelling at everyone right now saying he wouldnt be in the mess if he would have just fired Mueller when he first wanted to. That's all he's saying right now and he might be right.
GOP has their tax cut now.. they're holding strong but soon theyre going to cut bait on Trump.. especially with these trade war games he's playing.
Firing Mueller is a bad move but it's his only move at this point
Trump has to take this gamble. Letting Mueller continue this slow 1000x cut assassination is asinine. Trump has many members of the GOP in his back pocket and he should be telling them,"If I, Trump, go down. So do you!"
He's going to have to go full Nicky Barnes on this, and see what the GOP does. Everyone confessed except for Guy Fisher.

Months ago republicans indicated they would not have hearings for another AG to confirm them, they also said in the event Sessions got fired they would make the new AG vow not to interfere with or fire Mueller. I don't trust them though. If they think they can get away with covering Trumps behind a lil bit longer, I think they'd do it regardless of past promises.
