The times I've driven ATV's, they strap you in like you're in a space shuttle. Seatbelts, backup seatbelts, and shoulder harnesses. I wonder how he flew out of his vehicle like that.
 
Damn, sad stuff. That's how Dave Matthews' sax player died. his ATV flipped. Them ATV's ain't no joke. I hope he and his fam will be aight.

It happened Friday afternoon in Vance County, North of Raleigh. Rogers friends say doctors list him in serious condition.

Rogers played for the Deacons from 1990-1993. He left school after his junior season to apply for the NBA draft. The Denver Nuggets took him in the first round. Over a 12-season career, he played for seven teams. He also earned honors for being the best sixth-man in the NBA in the middle of his career. He retired in 2005.

Rogers grew up in Durham and often returned for family visits.

Wish him the best. He was in one of the craziest games in the NBA I've ever seen. When he was with the Denver Nuggets when he hit three three-pointers in a span of nine seconds to bring the Nuggets from a 94-86 deficit to a 95-94 lead but Denver lost the game at the end.

Dude had a decent NBA career but he was a beast during his days at Wake Forest. I wish him all the best.

Those ATVs are no joke. However, they aren't any more dangerous than a motorcycle so I'm not sure why the aren't street legal. I think it has to do with it having 4 wheels. Pretty much anything with 4 wheels must have certain safety reqs. I rode one of those ATVs and jumped this sand dune and feel off and that shit damn near fell on top of me and cracked my skull. I was shittin bricks. Needless to say I never tried to do anymore jumps on that thing.
 
yeah I thought he was gonna have a Barkley type career he just didn't have the drive to be great. Solid career though. Damn shame them atv's are dangerous as hell a chick died at Redskins's tackle Chris Samuels house a few month's back riding one of those damn things. It was his girlfriends best friend.
 
Damn this is really sad. I actually used to play pick up ball with Rogers in Durham, NC. My pops moved us there my junior year of High School. He is one of the coolest, most down to earth cats you will ever meet.

It was always obvious that he was better then anybody on the court and yet he wasn't stuck up or nasty about it. In fact I was probably the biggest scrub on the court and he would always make me his first pick Even knowing how terrible I was.

I wish him nothing but the best.
 
Damn, that's a shame. I remember dude had one of the illest putback dunks I ever saw in a game. Wish I could find it on youtube.

Damn, it's a shame. It's good that he earned all that money while in the league but I bet he would give it all back to have his perfect health back. I've been told without your health you don't have anything.:(:(:(:(
