Mrs. Colvin deserves all the respect in the world and should be held in the same esteem as Rosa Parks.
Her bravery as a 15-year-old child in the face of unimaginable bigotry and racism is amazing and inspiring.
I think the most fucked up story I heard was the story of the slaves having bags placed on their heads and being forced to "breed", (and I use the term breed with respect to our ancestors) no matter the relation.
That shit did not get out of my head for a long time.
Same goes for me! I was fucked up when I learned how they made sons have sex with their mothers using the bag to cover their heads as if they didn't know they were related. Plus fathers with daughters! White folks are despicable!
Fucking white devils are evil!
