I went on a hunting trip last year. The guy I went with is 79 years old, and he's from Louisiana. We were in the truck, shooting the breeze, and he said, "I remember when I was about fifteen, I had to go to the store to buy some ice. There was a white store, and a black store right across the street from each other. My family told me to get the ice from the white store. I asked, why? They said that the ice from the white store is colder."
When he told me that, I was like, "Dude, you gotta be kiddin' me."
He said, "Naw Man... some people thought like that back then."
I was like, "Damn!!!" Then I heard other people say the same thing: The white man's ice was colder.

Bruh, I wish I was lying, but I'm not. I thought that was some of the craziest shit I ever heard.
Water freezes at 32 degrees. Ice is Ice. Now I can see if the ice was made with clean water vs contaminated water; but that's not what he said.
Shit like that that needs to be told to everyone in ear range, and for all to see.. Especially the younger generation.
