2....

We do need to have a BGOL conference in ATL , Vegas or DR some day...

some grown man shit no pics or vids

automatic ban if pics are posted

THAT would be tite as hell! Hey, maybe a Philly conference, even...

Personally speaking, nah, NEVER met a BGOL'er face-to-face; would be interesting...either on a whim or arranged.

Hard to BELIEVE I went from lurker to MOD in 10-11 years; the sig workz DEF. paid off!!!

But SERIOUSLY, a CONFERENCE would be STELLAR; no beef, no drama; just networking and such, 'cause there's ALOT of peeps on this board I've known for at least a DECADE that I've always wanted to meet, some BROADS especially, lol...

Similar, No BGOL'ers but a shit load from the old AOL chatroom days..There was Ebony chatrooms and they used to have offline events and meet and greets all the time.

Yeah, I went to 2 or 3 AOL off lines back in the day. That was YEARS ago tho. Like 1999-2002ish. I still keep in touch with a few via facebook and twitter. I've no desire to meet folx anymore.

fat and/or ugly niggas and/or bitches don't wanna get that ock to poppin

imagine you look fucked up, you tell a bgoler to meet you somewhere, you gon have on the red shirt...nigga post up behind some shit and take pictures of yo ugly ass and your ock thread is 12 pages long before you get home.

maybe nowadays since bgol has more young beatch made mutha fukas on it. but YEARS ago dudes in a couple different cities across the country threw some bgol mixers and tried to organize it around the same month/weekend.

the one in the bar at magic's fridays in ladera heights out here in socal was cool. there was some dude that wore a big azzed 'HI MY NAME IS' tag on his shirt. can't remember what his screen name was but dudes was on the ground laughin cause he came in like :D with the nerdiest buttoned up collared dress shirt, thick azz bottle rim glasses, flooding with black shoes and white sweat socks. but then he hollared out 'I'M JUST PLAYIN!' and took off the glasses, rolled down his pants legs, and showed that he had a bgol t-shirt on underneath that super nerd dress shirt. it wasn't one of those quaid tees either. dude actually went out and had a tee made with BGOL in all caps. maybe cause everybody was several drinks deep at that point but that sheit was funny as a mutha fuka.

there was a cool mix of women and men. most of the women were lurkers though. a couple said there screen names but i didn't recognize any of um. there was a thread on here too about a couple other bgol mixers that went on. know there was one in chicago. one in i think in either atlanta or maryland and another in arizona if i remember right

I created a thread a year or so ago about throwing a BGOL Meet-N-Greet in Atlanta...

...but I changed my mind. There is just no way that shit wouldn't have been epic fail.

Never, and never want to :hmm:

But on a serious note, I wouldn't mind meeting a couple of folks on here, and also kick a couple of folks asses in real life :D

Met 2 members when I lived in the ATL and 1 in SF.

Homies for life, had parties, introduced them to my biological fam, friends etc. and vice versa.

Have convos with a couple others over the phone.

There are definitely good people on here.

:yes::yes::yes:

You are right late 90's early 2k..

Chatrooms were Ebony over 30 although there were a couple females that were younger..

Then there was an ebony over 40

but they had things in NYC ATL NO Chicago...

I know 4 posters before BGOL. 1 childhood friend, 2 of his friends he put on to BGOL and 1 I worked with back in the 90's underground strip club scene in NYC.
I know a couple of girls that just lurk.

I have seen one guy in the street. it's weird cuz we met here and talked about me doing some work for him (didn't work out) then following each other on twitter and now facebook friends but have never met face to face. Seemed a little weird to just run up on a dude you don't really know and say Hi.

Actually 5 people.

They know who they are

:D

Funny thing is that I know that there are maybe 15 people on here who know who I am, think I don't know, but everyone is about playing the quiet game.

I think what confuses us is the fact that this pseudo-anonymity causes some people to be more judgmental than they would in real life including myself.

In real life people are much more complex and so you get the full picture of their life and what they have been through, the obstacles they have had to overcome and the current uphill battles that they face.

Online you don't get that full picture so we tend to judge on what we see.

Kind of fuckup really cause I really do think that at the end of the day, we all want the very same things out of life.

D-town Rep, Coldchi and wtggt...who ever else is in Dallas

we need to hit DG's or Jaguars....

3 people met up with me in Thailand. We have our own code so dont ask for details. I will say two of them still constantly go at me on this board, even after the trip. But I get it...

There was on poster who posted some pics of some girls he said he smashed I knew the girl who pic he posted and later he posted a pic of an old ass car he souped up and wanted to sell!!!
After seeing those 2 posted I knew who he was and seen him almost everyday at my job!!!!
