Off instincts. Call it a spidey sense but for rats. A rat should be able to smell another rat who feeds pigs.
As a disclaimer, im not or have never been in the streets. As a citizen, I likely wouldn't snitch out of fear. not made up rules alot of people don't follow.
I'm from philly and I've heard and read stories about people getting killed for snitching whether you're in the streets or not.
That's my point. People try to act as if they don't snitch because they are real or whatever. In reality, street or not most don't do it because they fear what will happen to them or those around them.
I also didn't want to give the impression i was opposed to snitching in general. Particularly, what kids today define as snitching. I can't snitch if I wasn't a part of the crime. If I hold it down for a fellow criminal ( OP for example), it's a courtesy. Im not obligated to do so.
