Essentials including VISTA SP1 & XP SP3

A couple weeks ago I decided to revamp my whole PC and basically just start over. I did A LOT of downloading and installing of software and such that I find frequent use for. I think these applications can be useful to some of you...Especially Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3.
I personally dual-boot with both of these operating systems and they work flawlessly. All of the software in this thread is compatible with both Vista and XP, 32 & 64 bit operating systems unless otherwise stated. Nearly all present-day software is compatible with the 64-bit OS. Actually the only incompatible applications I've discovered are "Real" software such as Real Player and Rhapsody.

Take in consideration that these ARE NOT my uploads. Use caution before opening them by scanning them for viruses. Some of the files are either the exact ones I downloaded, or the most approximate one I could locate. Others are the best option out of what's available. At the time posted all links are functioning. Of course this can change so please inform me if they aren't working.

DO NOT complain about the abundant use of rapidshare. I'll post as many mirrors as possible but the majority will be rapidshare links. If you compare the value of the software to the price of a month's subscription to RS, I'm sure you'll see it's worth it.

Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0.1.325
Two issues to mention about Kaspersky.

Firstly, it's the most secure PC security system available. I highly recommend it because when other internet security systems fail, it almost certainly will not. I've personally researched it and it's the only PC security that scores near perfectly in every category. With that said, this application isn't for everyone! It's very over-bearing and can be frustrating until you are use to it.

The last issue is that Kaspersky Labs are even more efficient than Norton when it comes to pirated software. You will most likely have to re-activate every few months. This includes finding un-blacklisted keys which can be an issue if your not sure where to look.

There are several different hacks for vista all doing something different to make it functional. The first instance I posted is the exact copy I use myself. It looks to me as if it's fooling microsoft at the moment...You can update and use the genuine activation from the microsoft server without it deactivating the software.

Download "Internet Download Manager" posted above. Install and patch. Go into options and select browser integration for which ever Internet browser your using. Restart your browser..Highlight all of the links. Right click and select "download all links with IDM".
